Move support EA?
EDIT : Of course it's still using their right stick move technique so if there were Move support it would only be gesture based. Could be OK I suppose, but was hoping for something better than The Fight.

Well if you think GT5 has bad preorders, then Kinect's pre-orders must seem terrible.
Less orders than GT5 on a system with double the installed base - and that from a site which is not only inaccurate, but is run by an MS sycophant.
Perhaps you should get on the phone to Greenburg and tell him to up the sales numbers again lol.
r.
So, even by this lame site's judegment, Kinect only manages 6th place. Not much of a revolution there eh?
Which raises another question, presumably, VGC has something against Kinect or he'd just fabricate a higher number....

In UK terms - ShopTo is big when it comes to games.
Not only that, but in a store yesterday I heard a middle aged woman asking "What is Kinect?" of the employee while stood near the rack (who, I was glad to hear didn't sugar coat how bad the thing is).
Seems like MS need a bit more than 500 million for this push.
r.
Actually, the point is that ShopTo is unable to provide Kinect due to the small stock allocation and that's why Move is outselling it.
The article doesn't really comment on whether there is demand for more units or not - just that ShopTo can't sell what they aren't allocated.
The title is misleading crap again, but what else is new?

In some article about good sales, I also pointed out these were pre-orders (with no purchase commitment) and not therefore sales....
I was told by some sales-fanboys that was just "semantics".
So there you are.
Kinect is selling/pre-ordering say MS. Kinect is not selling/pre-ordering say some stores.
I imagine MS is keeping most of their stock to give away in the US and the UK and rest of world gets a small allocati...
It's been so long though - I'm looking at that statement
"The disks are being stamped"
and wondering what that "really" means and/or what's going to go wrong next....

RE5? Heavy Rain?
What I find funny is how many "hardcore" gamers visiting this site now want to play the dance one and now a kiddies Sonic one.
What happened - just have a menopause?
r.
More likely they're disagrees from people who aren't middle aged women who watch chat shows - that's Kinect's audience after all.
Don't break a nail replying!

Well there are a lot of reported features in the game but we've only seem some very limited demos.
If I were to guess I'd say there's a problem with the online elements since we've next to nothing of them (I don't believe a build with new firmware would cause this much of a delay).
The online elements of Prologue were a bit clunky, with the B-spec web intregration and the community features I reckon there's plenty of room for trouble. ...
DelayStation3?
The problem now is that Sony/PD have made pretty decent Hardware sales off the back of Move and GT5 release date - if GT5 is released they get more software, but if they hold it, they can get another hardware bump later next year and do whatever it is that PD want to do now.
Looks like a less interesting Christmas :/

I agree with the above - why does it have to be Move specific - the PS3 has multiple control methodsw so there should be few Move specific games and that's how it should be.
On another note, the Wii's best titles are in many instances not ones that make use (or at least significant use - see SMG) of it's motion controls.
The reality is that Move is an alternative, it's fun and in some cases can be used with longer games (see RE5 especially) - ...
And this is better than Mafia II (4/10). Your point?
Mine is that a) Sonic hasn't been reviewed by EuroLamer and b) that Mafia 2 is better than this so the relative review scores (especially between sites) aren't a good way of comparing.
Having said all that, the text of the review, while not exactly glowing, also doesn't really say anything that bad - the game seems functional if bland. Still, this looked lame from E3 and things haven't chang...
PC games have had this problem for years - partly a way to cut corners on testing and partly because it's very difficult to test open world games for every possible user scenario.
I guess it's the price you pay for more freeform games and is enabled by consoles with Hard Drives.
I guess there may still be people out there with 360s without HDDs - can they even play this now?
r.
Well there is the small issue of pricing. Implicit in this is he thinks the price will be one the market will like.
Prior estimates and conversions suggested otherwise.
I hope he's right in the price point estimate - I think Ninty will have learned from the Wii too and try to ensure a good flow of product.
r.
VGchartz.... hmmm... not a great source for actual accurate data. In fact, in recent months it seems to have become even less accurate. Completely missed the near parity in LTD sales between PS3 and 360 for example, and then the news about the 20% under estimation of Move sales.
Think they've lost what tiny amount of credibility they had.
r.
What's up Fable & Reach too boring you've got to amuse yourself with GT5 vids?
r.
Well give them their due - these are good games from various past years.
Why are they No1 though? Well, they're on a console which has sold a lot but has few decent games - people want to play something.
Again though, it's a motion console where non-motion games are selling best. If nothing else, this is demonstrating motion gaming is far from a done "deal" yet.
r.
"hello wtf is games for windows live then? lol"
Yet another failed attempt by MS to cash in on a market they don't understand.
Just like this - since we already have Steam, D2D, Impulse and many others. Unless MS come in significantly cheaper with an entirely uninvasive DRM this will just be an also-ran.
What it does confirm though is that MS is transitioning it's main 360 franchises to PC over time - which is in line with t...
The premium car list?
In which case I'm pretty happy - that's a lot of cars/vehicles and some good variety. I'd probably be happy if that was the full list, but another 700-ish on top is a nice bonus :)
Now, when will it be here Sony?
