Even Mozilla 2 is still better with free add-ons, built in search engine, and a very fast working browser. I have never gotten a single spyware/adware since I've moved to using Firefox.
Wouldn't they much rather sell it on eBay rather than return it?
It never ceases to amaze me how great its graphics looks blown up at 480p on a HDTV.
It was a bad idea bringing this of all RTS to a console.
I hope they don't do what DMC did by making his successor look EXACTLY like him.
Yeah they are finally learning to bundle their products well. Who would have thought the 40GB PS3 would be so good at being the core SKU for bundles. But I am really eager to see how well the MGS4 80GB bundle will do.
I still have MDs for my Sony MD players and UMD for my PSP.
While their console seem to be doing well, their OS, media player, and web browser no longer has the whatever positive reputation they used to have. In terms of the PC software, the only ones I still have some respect for is Office, Project, and Visio. But aside from productivity software, they have lagged behind competitors.
If they can just make it easier for new users to get into the store, find good contents, and purchase/download them, it should really help them out. Hopefully we'll see another revision when Home hits and they get more integrated together.
Hard to say, but hopefully it will for the sake of JRPG. Lost Odyssey finally hit half a million after weeks of release worldwide despite having an install base of over 17 million. These titles just aren't getting the attention they deserve on the 360.
And this is after they funded the Mistwalker studio to just produce JRPGs for the 360. I wonder how Sony would have come out if they did something similar or bought Level 5.
It's actually right now selling at the same pace as the PS2 and faster than 360 if you look at sales since launch.

Maybe it depends on where you pre-order it from. For example, Amazon let's you cancel.
I think its a good game, and I'll probably get it this summer if I can finish MGS4 fast enough. Like the developer said they spent more time on the 360 version, so the lack of ranked games for the PS3 is probably where they cut corners at. It's not a deal breaker for me nor a slap in the face that some other developers tend to give to PS3 owners, so I'll stick with the PS3 version.
It'll depend on pricing and performance, but it's actually a smart move. If for example during the fabrication process, one of the cores has errors, they can now just disable it instead of just throwing it away and sell it as a tri-core. It helps improves their yields and gives them more offerings at very little additional overhead.
They took points off graphics for no damage system, which doesn't make sense since they didn't do it for GT4.
This from the POV of someone who has never played it and simply hates it for being on a rival console. Unless of course you are against the most realistic and beautiful racing game yet.
I tried the Japanese PSN demo awhile back and I was blown away playing it on a big HDTV; you should try this game, at least at a store kiosk or a friend's house, before you start badmouthing it.
Killzone has the atmosphere and mood, but I really like the idea of a 8-player co-op campaign for Resistance 2. Resistance 2 will probably be a safer bet on both being both released on time and quality of the title since it is using a third generation engine and is being developed by the much coveted Insomniac people. These two plus Haze pretty much has the PS3 set for FPS this year.
Ever since I've read their reviews on certain games, I've felt they tend to dumb down games like how those hollywood-centric shows does to art.
The R4 is definitely damaging the DS. I really only bought a DS because I was curious about R4. The good thing about it is that for a modest price of about $40, you have fully hacked the DS without changing its actual firmware or anything, so you haven't voided the warranty.
