It's an enhanced version of the original plus the expansion, so it translates into roughly 100 hrs of gameplay. You really shouldn't pass this up, especially considering how Atlus has a habit of making this series go out of print very easily.
I can't wait for Persona 4.
The only problem with this series is its availability. It always goes out of print so quickly here in North America. I hope Atlus can finally realize that they have a popular JRPG in their hands that should not be discontinued so quickly in the West.
I'm really tired of this debate between graphics, I think this simply proves two things:
1) Rockstar North is a very talented developer to be able to be able to make the PS3 version run so well despite having the development been lead on the 360.
2) The PS3 is capable of all the graphics horsepower it was boasted to have. It simply rewards efficient coding and severely punishes poor ones, a lesson to all sub-par multi-platform developers that are not Rockstar, Infinity Ward...
No I doubt it's gonna be a remake of Persona 4 with HD graphics. It will most likely be Persona 5. Persona is really starting to into the mass market with all these entries into the Playstation family. It used to be such a hardcore series that it cost an arm and a leg to find and buy.
It's Tri Ace, which is on par with Square Enix and Level 5. These three should keep the JRPG genre alive.

What conference?
It would probably jump higher if Sony would introduce the greatest hits selection here in the states so the software prices would drop a bit. Most quality titles, including a bunch of launch titles, for the PS3 are usually still at full retail price.
Yeah it's interesting he chose the games covered in the Eurogamer comparisons with the most anti-PS3 quotes.
I'd rather there be a petition to ban EA from ever handling a PS3 port ever again.
It's always reassuring to see a company that specializes in hardware electronics make optimizations to their system. I have never had a breath-holding moment with a Sony product ever.
If they can't tell the difference, it must be one of the following:
1) A slow love drama that doesn't require a high bitrate
2) A low quality or sub-HD TV using a non-component or non-HDMI connection
What a long off-topic rant from someone who just took this article as an opportunity to smear the PS3 name.
All of these game still simply translates into the 360 benefiting from its early availability and being the lead development platform, hence all the games currently available now are 3rd-4th generation engines on the 360 but only 1st-2nd on the PS3. But even now the differences are being minimized until it'll be unnoticeable by the end of this year.
The title of this post threw me off. What does your wife have to do with your experience with a 360?
I'll probably buy a 360 myself before this gen is over, if only to play its exclusive JRPGs. But until its reliability is fixed and the gen is close to being over, I'm going to stay with my PS3. It's dedicated free online service, regular updates, and ability to make me feel the possibilities in store for it is infinite is really hard to replace with any other console.
It just doesn't make sense if Sony choose NOT to integrate their multimedia conglomerate together to help promote each other. Sony Music and Pictures can become easily accessible to the living room through the PS3, and this gives more reason for the casual gamer to buy a PS3 for the full next gen experience.
It'll still all be in 480p.
Even if "[they] spend the majority of our CPU cycles solving physics. The game", with a 700MHz CPU that really doesn't amount to much when you compare it to a 3.2GHz Cell or 3.2GHz tri-core.
Another way to look at the data is to either say that people on the AOL network prefer the 360 or there are simply more 360s in the US.
And the worldwide numbers are way too biased in this "article":
"There have been 17.7 million more Xbox 360 units sold worldwide compared to the 9.5 million sold for Playstation 360."
They deflated 360 numbers by less than half a million, but PS3 numbers by almost 2 million.
I still wished the PS3 had split screen so I can play it with a couple of friends on the couch like I can do with Warhawk.
I wish I had a pair too, anyone know a place online that sells them cheap?
Well I hope its true and not some cruel joke.
