If it was a better in-game screenshot, you could probably see the difference between 1080p and 720p better.
It's a double-edged sword. It depends on how well the demo represents the full game. Demos have made me purchase PSN games a couple of times, but they have also turned me away a couple of times as well.
Yeah it's a rant phrased as a rhetorical question. I have firefox on all my computers and even on portableapps on my flash drives to take with me to computer labs that don't have it. It does have a bit of memory leakage (which is suppose to be fixed in 3.0), but it's still so much better than its competitors.
In terms of hardware design, quality, and reliability, Sony is top tier in every genre. And as for media format wars they've lost, at least they tried and they learned from their mistake.
That's just freaky. It's like playing the devil's music backwards.
It's amazing they found a way to do worse than Vista.
The lawsuit was filed after Blu Ray won, I hope they find how conveniently suspicious that is.
I do this so I can watch those mkv video files they release a lot of anime videos on. I usually burn all my anime on DVDs so most of them encoded as xvid or h264 on avi or mp4 files run just fine, but I rely on linux for some of the stubborn mkv ones.
It's also a great way to try your own hand at programming on a cell processor.
I would still rather pay a lil extra for the 1st party offering.
Hmm so when the PS2 was released years ago, a year after Dreamcast, with the ability to play DVD movies, didn't that give them an edge over the Dreamcast system?
The iPhone is too expensive, has too many other functionalities, lacks too many physical interfaces, and is too expensive to ever overcome the PSP or DS. It is the same reason why smart phones, PDAs, and other handhelds can't compete with dedicated handheld gaming platforms.
Most of the first gen JRPG projects started on the 360 due to their early dev kits, so the 360 will probably have more until 2009 when the big PS3 JRPGs comes out.
I can't believe MMarvel Ultimate Alliance is on that list.
I doubt the 360 would have been delayed, MS is really good at releasing products early before they should and then patch it up later. Vista with out SP1 can't even copy/move very large amount of files without stalling. WinXP didn't really become a good OS until SP2.
Though I think a contract keeps a bunch from coming to the PS3, I do hope this one will only a timed exclusive like Eternal Sonata. MS seems like it uses contracts and project funding to make up for its lack of internal studios that Sony and Nintendo has.
I don't care much for other genres, but good JRPGs are not getting the attention they deserve on the 360. Eternal Sonata hasn't even sold a quarter of a million despite its high production values, but a terribly generic one call...
...ms is red with anger (and heat).
Is that also when Xbox 720 comes standard with HDMI, reliability, HDD, and free network access?
Another price drop on the way?
No, I'll be in school finishing up my undergrad when this thing gets released and when I go back home its MGS4, so I won't be playing this for awhile.
Yeah his frankness is pretty refreshing. The interviewer was really pushing for some firm statements and he gave it to him. This should be a great year. I hope we see another Naughty Dog game before the end of it though.
None of them were replays. And as for lightning, I'm surprised you can even see these kinds of things with those screen shots. We need better screenshots to see the superiority of GT5 Prologue.
