Last Tales I played was Tales of Abyss, it was pretty good in terms of graphics. Besides, JRPG was never completely about graphics.
I'll enjoy Disgaea 3 just as much as Valkryie of the Battlefield when they come to NA, despite their difference in graphics.
"What I've always said is that bad code, and bad data design in particular, is bad on any architecture, but it's particularly bad on the PS3 because the Cell is a much more modern, much more heterogeneous design."
There are so many bad developers out.
"People didn't survive, and they b1tched, but you have to do it because the world changes."
Only thing stopping a price cut in the US is the poor value of the USD. A price cut everywhere else would be pretty easy.
Well there's still the poor value of the USD that's preventing a price drop in the US. Once that goes up, a price drop should not be far behind.
From any PR point of view, it is a bad idea to put the 360 and a destructive word together in the same sentence.
Yeah he really didn't. If you read the comments, it really shows how much his readers think MTV is in touch with the MGS world.
Wow, you memorized all those Sony games just for this. Maybe I should show the 360 the same level of respect...
A great game; anyone who enjoyed this should get the MGS Essential Collection.
So here is the confirmation (of vgchartz) that though MS did not lie about doubling their sales, they are still trailing behind the PS3 in EU. Given that the 360 does its best in the UK, we can only assume it is doing worse in other European countries.
I don't think Joystiq can get such a large polling size. I remember that MTV blog awhile ago with a sample size of like 50 people, pretty pathetic compared to this.
Only IGN is still capable of such a large sample size. Since it is more of a international site, it probably reflects NA and EU.
I already preordered it for my PS3 from Newegg for $57 with free 3-day shipping.
He's too harsh with himself and his team. They built MGS4 on a first generation engine for a platform that has a steep learning curve. This isn't like in MGS3 when they already had experience from MGS2. The previews are already pretty much blown away by the immersion level of the game engine.
All JRPG fans should get this game, even if they got Persona 3, it is a steal at $29.99.
With Shadow Hearts and Xenosaga gone, the only three big JRPG series left are Final Fantasy, Tales, and Star Ocean. But I suppose there is also Disgaea, Persona, and Valkyrie Profile if they ever make it to HD.
Wow, first time I'm gonna do this for you.

Yeah I don't agree with this list much. Feel the Magic: XY/XX was a great game.
MS thought reliability wasn't needed this round.
Thank God I knew better.
I've been enjoying my console right out of the box since launch, hadn't paid a cent for multiplayer gaming, and have never held my breath when turning it on.
Bummer for me, huh?
Hmm since Ninja Theory is currently working on a cross platformer and Sony owns the rights to Heavenly Sword, I wonder if it's possible that Ready at Dawn, having made a pretty damn good GoW for the PSP, is now making Heavenly Sword 2 for the PS3.
I think the Blu Ray should help push the PS3 as a console for casual gamers, by doing everything that the Wii can't. And it should help establish the PS3 as the console of choice for making the living room an entertainment center for those who don't play much games.
