My WRT54G now no longer has disconnects once I switched to the Tomato firmware with QoS. It used to get disconnects on wireless with the original firmware when I was downloading from BT from my laptop.
I used to get that, but it turned out it was my wireless router's authentication.
Of all the companies to use to exemplify solid hardware, it amazes me that you chose MS. The PS3 has one of the lowest failure rate of all the current gen consoles, please don't tell them that they need to learn from the company with the highest failure rate.
Btw, I've thrown (dropped) my Jabra bluetooth headsets around and they really don't break, they are all that rugged. You need to find a better example for a good hardware in terms of their average lifetime, like IBM Thinkpad...
Since Blu Ray is bleeding edge technology, it wouldn't surprise that out of 12 million PS3 owners, there are some that have encountered this problem. But please don't compare this to the RRoD and numerous other issues the 360 faces. There are no PS3 owners that hold their breath whenever they turn on their console.
Well I only have a PS3, so obviously the PS3 version for me.
I just don't understand these companies (Nintendo and MS) that makes a price cut and cry out supply shortage at the same time. Most responsible companies only commit to a price cut in the face of excess supply.
I have two SIXAXIS and one DS3. Obviously I try to play with the DS3 now, but it's like rumble is something you really notice when you are in the middle of a firefight. My point is that if you have to choose, go for the DS3, but you are not really left out in the cold if you get a SIXAXIS.
It's not really smooth when you consider it's an Intel Quad core with 4GB of RAM.
I wouldn't mind gaming on my PC, but I just hate all the driver issues related with the different OS. But I'll probably try this game on my laptop since I don't have a 360.
Are you being sarcastic? This is about the PS2, not the PS3.
Yeah Amazon and BB right now has it at the discounted price.
Once the PStore gets revamped and Home comes out, whatever advantages the 360 got from their head start on console launch and Live service would become neglible.
Though Sony did start out at an disadvantage, they have been pretty good at covering their faults:
1) Introducing the free PhyreEngine cross-platform engine, making it easier for developers to lead on the PS3.
2) Revamping the PStore. It should the first step in making the PStore more accessible and di...
A testament to the potential, reliability, performance, and value behind each single PS3. We are now just into year 2 of the ten year plan; I can't wait for the next 8.
I don't have anything against his movies, since I usually just to see them. But I do have something against the way he goes around legal loopholes with how he finances them, not to mention how he is destroying some very great game series with poorly thought out films.
He has extended his hatred for the PS3 to the PS2 and PSP.
I guess Rockstar New England is going to turn into a porting studio, but they need to get better. That bully port was pretty bad.
Came out earlier, excelled in multiplayer connectivity, but lost steam to a playstation product. Hmm, sounds about right.
Yeah, its a very misleading title. I thought it was going to be about some upcoming Star Wars 360 exclusive.
It's the coop that gets to me too.
Isn't it still coming out in May? Why is that in the 2009 fiscal year?
I think round two (2008) of the console war will be the most interesting. Right now the PS3 still isn't even fighting with its best titles yet, which are all due out between the summer and the holidays.
