But those are all either completely different games or at least on different consoles.
NSMB2 and NSMBU are similar but on different consoles. THey are 2D platformers. Paper Mario is more like an RPG. Mario Kart is an arcade racer. Mario Land is a 3D platformer. Luidi'g Mansion is like an adventure game, which features Luigi not Mario anyway. Mario tennis is a tennis game, Mario Party is a mini-game collection and Mario & Sonic is a sports game which IS NOT made by Nin...
It probably would not sell as much, but it definitely still would sell loads with Pokemon and Monster Hunter.
Bubble for you good sir.
Not amazing but they look pretty cool IMO. I'm glad they are making it different from the original Wii boxes to avoid consumer confusion.
Here we go again...
*sigh*
"Weak lineup"?
Now I agree the Wii U's lineup isn't mind-blowingly awesome, but how can Pikmin 3, Mass Effect 3, ZombiU, New Super Mario Bros. U, Assassin's Creed 3, Rayman, Batman and Darksiders be considered "weak"? Not to mention all the downloadable digital games like Trine 2 and the obvious eventual future releases of heavy hitters like Zelda, Smash Bros, etc.
Nintendo obviously has high expectations because it's outselling pretty much everything in Europe and America except the PS3 and on occasions the 360.
It sold more than Uncharted on the Vita.
Just saying.
For those of you who will rush to disagree me, look it up.
And I will (once the games come out). Give me a smash bros and I'll use it every day.
Look's great. This will really boost 3DS sales in Japan even further.
My prediction:
Release date - November 2012
Price - $300
New game announcements - Call of Duty Black Ops 2 and Retro's new project which was supposedly pulled out of Nintendo's E3 at the last minute
That was a peripheral supported by about 5% of 3DS games. It isn't necessary, if you want it just buy the attachment for like $10.
The PSP, 3DS (before it got the extra circle pad) and the DS all have great games with one or even NO analog controls. Whilst I agree that it would be nice to have the extra analog just in case, I really don't think it's necessary top make a whole new model just for it because that would divide the user-base and annoy owners of the ori...
It's as relevant as this question is irrelevant.
I think this guy sums it up pretty well:

IMO yes it's a little disappointing that it doesn't have a second circlepad, BUT at the end of the day if you want it just buy the peripheral that costs just $15. Only about 5% of 3DS games support the second analog anyway and it's not likely it's necessary - the PSP had loads of great games with 1, t...
I wouldn't say this line-up is mind-blowing but it is very good, especially compared to the launches of other consoles like the Wii, PS3 and 3DS. I'm actually pleasently surprised by the appealing line-up of games...can't wait!
I agree that this article is praising it TOO much...but you are painting it to be terrible. Tell me how many launch lineups were better than this? Certainly a few but nothing blows this away. Assassin's Creed, Pikmin, Mass Effect, Darksiders, Rayman and an exclusive Zombie game at launch is pretty boss IMO though I understand it may not be everyone's cup of tea.
Damn...its been nearly 2 weeks. Nintendo's conference was bad. We know. Let it go.
I hope this doesn't mean GTA 5 won't be on Wii U.
Whats with the Wii bump? What game?
Anyway, PS360 and 3DS still dominating.
No it's not because most of those games play entirely differently to each other.
Just because 2 games have the same MAIN CHARACTER (Mario) does NOT mean they are the same game.
