Looks so dam fun!
I want to win!!
This is looking awesome. I'll admit I was sceptical of this game after the galaxy series but it looks so damn fun and crisp!
This. RDR was great.
Amazon UK has matched those prices too - £199 for pro and £149 for basic. Weather this is for competitive reasons or because the price cut is official, I don't know.
But I gotta say, the Wii U is a steal at that price. Even if you just use it to play Nintendo games and have PS4/X1/PC as your main device, at less than 150 go buy it for the exclusives you know are coming.
Great news if true
Shame, because they deserve it.
Interesting to hear him say "as we've seen from the Metroid games" given that it's been announced they are working on Donkey Kong, and their last game was Donkey Kong.
I love Retro though, and look forward to whatever they are working on.
Not sure if this is actually Microsoft arranged (seems too stupid that they would make him wear a shirt that actually says Microsoft on it), but if true this is real low.
"Is Nintendo Doomed"
At this point it is foolish to deny that Nintendo is having some problems. But the strength of the 3DS, the fantastic first-party line-up for Wii U over the next 18 months and the HUGE cash reserves Nintendo has from the Wii/DS days means they won't be going anywhere anytime soon.
MGS V, monolith's "X", Battlefield 4 for me.
Destiny, Titanfall, the Division, Mirror's Edge, Smash Bros, Infamous and Killzone all looked great too.
GTA 5, The Last Guardian, new Metroid and Half Life 3 for me.
Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros and monolith's "X"
All had their highs and lows IMO.
Sony was probably the best by a small margin. They didn't show much for Vita which was disappointing and the requirement to pay PS+ from now on is a little annoying, but the slew of first-party games, new IP and extremely reasonable price of the PS4 coupled with the confirmation of no DRM or always on connection made it the favourite for me.
Microsoft did not have a mind-blowing conference, but I think this article is a ...
Enchantment!
E3 2010 was a great show.
Whilst it may be unlikely, you should learn to be more open-minded - that's the problem with most people on N4G.
Nintendo definitely goes into this E3 as the "underdog", but given their amazing game line-up for the next year, they could still take the show with some third-party surprises.
2010 was amazing for Nintendo.
Tons of top-quality first part announcements including Donkey Kong Country Returns, Zelda Skyward Sword, Kirby etc. AND great third-party presence with exclusive GoldenEye and NBA AND hardware reveal with the 3DS which was also revealed to have a great line-up with Resident Evil, Kid Icarus, Monster Hunter, Metal Gear Solid, Ridge Racer etc.
2004 was just badass too from start to finish. Those are probably my two favourite Ninte...
Zelda Wii U, Uncharted 4, Splatoon and No Man's Sky get my vote.
