It probably has the potential, but won't win any because it's on Wii. I hate when sites are biased like that.
Looking great.
Look's great!
I'm really looking forward to this game!
Another great review score for this game. I keep getting more and more interested in it...
The 3DS may not have the greatest games library yet, but this is an absolute steal, especially with games like Super Mario, Star Fox, Kid Icarus, Mario kart, Resident Evil and Metal Gear Solid on the way soon.
$250 is great value for what you are getting.
Amazon are selling the 3DS for £115, that's great considering they sell the PSP for £130.
I can't imagine Americans are happy about this.
I will be buying this here in Europe, hopefully that will help convince NOA that the game can sell, and you guys can get it too.
Interesting. The magnetomoter should help increase the controller's accuracy - the Move uses that, though MotionPlus doesn't.
Also, I like the in-built storage. It probably won't be much, but perhaps now they can be used to transfer characters, save files, pictures and more.
What happened?
They've made the great RPG they've always wanted to...which was well received.
They also maintained the creative freedom they love - Nintendo allowed them to make a new IP - Disaster: Day of Crisis.
Anyone know when the price cuts will hit at Amazon and Play?
EDIT: Just checked, the 3DS is currently £140 on Play.com, and is £115 on Amazon.co.uk
No.
Smartphones and Tablets WILL reduce sales of the 3DS and Vita, no matter what you think. HOWEVER, I think it is a complete exaggeration when people say that Nintendo and Sony will 'die' because of them - there will always be people who prefer fully-fledged games to iPhone Apps, therefore the 3DS and Vita will still sell well.
Also, if you want the awesome first-party games - Uncharted, Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Killzone, God of War, Pokem...
Agree completely.
Well written, but I completely disagree.
Agreed, they know Action and M-rated games pretty well.
I'm unimpressed/skeptical about some things - the fact that there is no hard-drive, the fact that online may still not be up to scratch, and the fact that perhaps only one controller can be used.
Having said that, the strong third-party support and interest, extremely innovative and unique controller, inevitable amazing first-party line-up and probable competitive pricing are enough to make me want this system.
Expected, the 3DS just launched a few months ago. Normally takes around 2 years for a 'slim' model.
There will be a 'lite' version eventually though, probably with improved battery life and camera quality as well as a slimmer and lighter unit design.
Star Wars and MMO's are two things that have huge potential in the market. I think that number can certainly be reached.
Ditto.
