lol no
Apparently it means an 875% increase in Wii U sales on Amazon UK.

I don't think so. Pretty sure the only difference was the Japanese version which announced Yakuza 1 & 2 for Wii U.
That is RIDICULOUSLY unprofessional. And it's so rich coming from "the worst company in America" as voted by the people.
As mentioned countless times, this Nintendo Direct's SOLE purpose was to show off games coming in the next few months which means no massive announcements (I'm surprised we even got one).
Nintendo stated that they will have another conference at or just before E3 when they will shows off 3D mario, smash bros, mario kart and announce new games.
Absolutely fantastic news. They're making sure the word is out on the big guns before the flood of E3 news so that these games get all the attention they obviously deserve.
My only issue is the fact that he said "discuss" and not "show" which suggests that we may only hear about the games and maybe get some screens with no actual gameplay.
Still though, I'm hyped for these along with Monolith's RPG and Retro's project.
I actually love the gamepad overhead control. It reminds me of PC RTS games which I love.
Pikmin 3 is looking better and better, I just want to play it at this point, Nintendo keeps teasing :)
They clearly stated in the begginning of the direct that this was just to show the games coming in the next 2-3 months. They will have another conference during E3 week where they will show future releases and all the games they announced in January (3D mario, smash bros, wind waker HD, monolith's RPG, Bayonetta 2, etc.)
It could use some more games at this minute I agree. But, the Wii U's lineup is pretty great for the rest of the year and next year.
Thats what I meant. The Youtube terms & conditions state that the revenue made from advertising goes to the original owner of the content being shown in that video, not the user.
Erm...this happens with any youtube video where you don't own 100% of the right to what's being shown.
Even though they make the Retro game sound exactly like a new Metroid Prime game, the fact that it doesn't actually mention Metroid suggests that it may in fact be a Starfox game.
To be honest, I would be over the moon with either. Interested to see the supposedly completely different 3D Mario game too, assuming this rumour is true.
Maybe not. But this along with Mario Kart, Wind Waker HD, new Zelda, Smash Bros, Bayonetta 2, Xenoblade 2, Yoshi Yarn, Pikmin 3 and Wonderful 101 should do the trick.
They left out the most important one.
Ninty exclusives.
Nintendo doesn't need to relaunch the Wii U. They just have to ensure they get more third-party support, advertise the console making it clear that it is a brand new console, and maybe a price cut when the PS4/Nextbox are released.
This could be an effective tactic, especially for encouraging smaller developers to bring third-party multiplats to the Wii U.
Good move if true, Nintendo.
The article is actually wrong about the £83 price for the original Wii on Amazon UK - that price is for one individual seller. Amazon actually sells the console at £124, so the £79.99 price point for the mini isn't AS bad. However, I still think that this should have included wifi capabilities. A wireless component must cost like 50 cents when bought in bulk, would it really have made much of a difference to include it?
If it's an emergency, why wait until next week?
A game with only one flaw is a great game to me
Why? The million exclusives maybe?
