Pretty good for a console that is "doomed" and for a handheld that is in a market being "destroyed by smartphone and tablets".
Seriously, journalists always exaggerate. People still want quality games, that's why the 3DS and Vita will succeed - as these sales figures prove.
My guess is $300. And, as long as it provides quality games, then I'm fine with that.
It's about time! It's a great game - you guys in the US deserve a chance to play it.
Here's hoping The Last Story and/or Pandora's Tower make it too!
Great news in my opinion. I would love to see is we get 3D movies. Anyway, this is a nice move because as far as I am aware European owners don't get Netflix support like Americans do.
I do hope this support is worldwide, though, as it would be a shame to limit great content to specific regions.
I absolutely agree. I think it is completely unfair when fanboys get defensive and try to 'bubble-down' everyone who sides with a different game or company to them.
I support this suggestion, completely.
And Monster Hunter 4 and Paper Mario 3DS and Kid Icarus: Uprising and Metal Gear Solid 3D and Resident Evil: Revelations...
Not to mention the inevitable Pokemon game, Dragon Quest game, Zelda game and more...
The 3DS line-up may have started slow, but it's beginning to look pretty impressive in my opinion.
Great news. I love Sky.
@Matrix_
That forecast is for the end of the fiscal year, not the calendar year (in other words March 2012 not December 2011). Nintendo can manage it.
Pretty good considering the 3DS launched during the beginning of the year whereas most of the other consoles on there launched in holiday season.
I think the 3DS will really kick off when the Mario/Pokemon games come out and holiday comes round.
Can't wait for Metal Gear Solid 3D, Resident Evil: Revelations and Monster Hunter 4.

...and that is before any Mario, Pokemon or Monster Hunter game was released...
I rest my case.
Can't wait for Zelda Wii U/3DS!
Nintendo don't profit from the $170 price tag, they are selling at a loss.

Other than that, I agree with what you said.
Mario Kart 7.
I'm not the biggest fan of horror games, but Dementium on the DS was pretty good.
Well deserved IMO. It was a great game, and Retro Studio is a great developer.
Great game, great score.
I was hoping for F-Zero :(
But I'm sure this will be good too.
For your first Origins order you get 25% off and now if that first order is Battlefield 3 than you ALSO get a free game? That's great, especially considering the free games you can get are Mass Effect 2, Medal of Honor or Dead Space 2! I'm impressed EA.
Having said that, Steam is still the best.
The 3DS software library is really starting to kick off - we just got The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7, Star Fox 3D and Cave Story 3D, and now next year we will get Kid Icarus Uprising, Resident Evil: Revelations, Metal Gear Solid 3D, Luigi's Mansion 2, Tekken 3D: Prime Edition, Heroes of Ruin, Paper Mario 3DS and more...great!
