"Company says that their own product it's not having issues, because they say so"
@kumakai
In this case I would say that if 1 out of every 3 MW players actually completed the campaign, those are very good numbers.
They talk about how 1/3 it's such a low completion percentage, but even then, we are talking about the 33% of 15+ million customers every year, so "ONLY" 5+ million different users, surely not a negligible number.
Does it come in "Gender Neutral" Wasabi Green? 🤣 /S
@Imalwaysright
Totally agree, unfortunately in tv, movies and now games they want the defining characteristic to be who they f* or what pronounce they want to be called instead of how they behave as a human being, flaws and all.
"The fact is Neil didn't out her in the Left Behind trailers, he just did it and we found out while playing the game."
1000% this.
Cool, let's make the exact same game for 23+ years, because "any major deviation would alienate fans" I guess even looking like an actual switch game would be too much for fans to take /S
@--Onilink--
It's fundamentally the same game, it's not blind hate, it's the truth, just because they added a hell of a lot more Pokemons and some gameplay additions here and there in 23 years doesn't mean it actually evolved in over 20 years, the "story" may change, the island and 1 or 2 mechanics from game to game, but it's as close to a yearly franchise as Nintendo has.
I understand they are not the same reviewers but it is the same site, reviews are very subjective but at the same time there HAS to be a way to standardize some things, you cannot give 9.3 to Pokemon BECAUSE it's the old "if it's not broken why fix it" and then another reviewer on the same site one week later gives Shenmue 3 a 5.9 because it's mechanically a 20 years old game.
"but POKEMON feels like a game that has ignored the innovation and progress of the last 20 years of video game development"
There you go, fixed it for you IGN.
This is what I hate about some game sites, I'm not arguing the score, but how for some games it's perfectly ok to be the exact same game for 20+ years straight (Pokemon) and still get raving reviews and for others they complain about not innovating enough, especially when the whol...
Wow, how sad to see people like you that just takes it and actually enjoy it.
Because they know this will drive traffic, just as much as their 6.8 review of the game did.
Such a condescending article, another ign article trying to get more clicks out of a highly publicized game.
Actually if they can only reach 999.5 million they would still need to lay off those 800, 'cause money! Those 30 million dollars checks at the end on the year don't write themselves.
Dragon Quest XI It's One of the most feature and content complete games this generation, they over delivered in every single way, the post game it's basically an entire 40+ hours new adventure.
Ditto, the only thing I would greatly appreciate it's a much longer lasting battery and it would be perfection.
@ Spurt
"The third act itself is worthy of the award"
The game looks AMAZING, but that does NOT equal to best art direction.
Best art direction? Gears 5? Just because it looks pretty doesn't mean the art direction is nominee worthy.
@Obscure_Observer
Why are you always so hyper? Everything is an 11/10 with you.
