Honestly, this is almost worst that anything done by Activision, Ubisoft or EA. Only redeeming quality is that the Pokemon games are not filled with micro transactions.

I find the 20 hours claim on a first playthrough highly unlikely, you must have skipped all side activities, 0 exploration, skipped cutscenes, interactions with group, you missed a lot of what makes the game, game of the year.
I agree 100% with the console war basically over with Xbox, very limited time to game lately due to kids, wife and work + it just feels like talking about the same stuff all the time.

Dude, I was SO ready to give Nintendo my money for the Switch 2, I've been wanting to buy a portable for a while and didn't pull the plug because I was waiting for the Switch 2.

I think it's mostly the fact that they have like 20+ different teams working on these games probably in the hundreds of hours per individual per week to meet the yearly deadline. That and I do not know, marketing, besides that, it beats me.
I hope they go back to the survival horror first game and not the more action oriented sequels.
It sounds like an apologists review, because Ukraine, don't get this mistaken, it is nothing short of a miracle that they completed this game after everything that is going on, but that still does not excuse any issues the game has, it is a disservice to anyone buying this game thinking of it a 5/5 experience (which yes, that's somewhat subjective, but still)
