100% agree, I was thinking the same thing, this looks like they're trying to be this new generation Warframe, I remember downloading Warframe on my day one Ps4 and I guess they want us to do the same with Godfall, if it's free to play I might be down for it.
I'll give Microsoft that at least quantity wise they do have quite a few games coming in 2020, but I think their approach of a lot of smaller AA games for Game Pass with only the 1 or 2 AAA titles in a year it's not something I agree with.
And I'm not even touting the quality of these offerings, they can all be great in their own way, but they don't feel like those megaton / Major Events that the competition releases, but more like the game pass "free&q...
Wow, "Infinitely better" just from a short trailer, instead of you know, a remake of one of the most beloved games of all times, even if it's just a chapter of that game or a remake of ony disc 1, it still comes from one of the most beloved games of all time.
But I guess my opinion doesn't follow the narrative that everything is better on switch.
@Shaggy2303
Sorry then, 2 games in 7 years, that totally makes it better! /S
For CDPR to release Cyberpunk 2077, one of the most awaited games of the generation as a day one Game Pass title they would have to be paid in the hundreds of millions at least, that game is going to sell in the tens of millions of full priced copies. I might see it 1 or 2 years down the line, but day one or even same year, I do not.
That's SO true, they make 1 half assed game lacking content and then sell it to you 2 times with just limited changes from one version to the other, actually even worse, they just split the limited content between the 2.
AND then release a third United edition, it's just shameful, only Nintendo gets away with stuff like this, if it were any other developer we would rightfully never hear the end of the complains.
I agree, lets not pretend that gamefreak didn't knew full well that they were reusing the same models and animations, they just didn't care because they've gotten used to basically make the same game every single time and reap the rewards, now in an actual console they couldn't hide it behind the fact that they were developing the game in less powerfull hardware like a handheld 3ds.
I actually appreciate how Sony never tried to push down our throats this "streaming future", for them it has always been another option for gamers, I don't think that means they squandered any but actually that they know their audience.
A jump like the one from the ps2 to Ps3 will never happen again, law of diminishing returns and how far graphics have actually advanced, what it will be for sure, it's a jump lot more impressive than the one from Ps3 to Ps4.
@S2killinit
Agree 100%, people trade in or buy a new $1000 phone every year or every 2 years, but somehow see too expensive a $500/600 console that will last you a good 6 to 7 years.
Even if they release a mid-generation upgrade 4 years in and you actually upgrade it's still worth it.
I've been saving my cash rewards from my credit card for like a year now, plus I'm going to trade in my PS4 pro for in store cash so I can buy a Ps5 for as little "out of pocket" as possible (hopefully 0) when you add both.
"Astro Bot Rescue Mission, although why anyone would want to play a platformer in VR is beyond me"
That's taken from the article, he is complaining about literally the best game in the system, I'm amazed how some people get paid for saying stupid s* like that.
Awesome, I hope this does really well so we can finally get a US release date for #IV (for both Ps4 and Switch)
They should stop with this crowdfunding BS, come out and say that they have enough money to make the game and just start working towards a release date. That's the only way for them to save a little bit of face, because it's seriously starting to look even more like a big scam, at what point will they get enough money to make the game? Is this going to be the first 500 million dollars game? This thing it's getting ridiculous.
Atari 2600 was my first console, from there I had a NES, SNES, N64 but once I bought an original PlayStation with my first 2 games being Resident Evil 2 and Final Fantasy VII I could never go back.
Fallout 4 it's 8th? Really, out of all the games in the last 10 years you reached some kind of consensus where Fallout 4 it's 8th? That game shouldn't even be in the top 50.
If their first original game studio was formed in October, that means that a game from that would release at the earliest in 2023.
Hopefully they don't start buying developers left and right because once Stadia goes under those developers will close shop with Stadia.
Exactly, now you're paying GwG JUST to play online because the games have been disgraceful for the last 4 to 5 months, might as well merge the services.
Every month it's more proof that they don't care anymore about offering a good deal with games with gold and that they're putting all of their eggs into the game pass basket.
I think I need to see more of the game to actually judge it on graphics alone, once I see the scope of the world and gameplay I can make a better judgement, if 4K 60fps with no load times then that's a good start, but I seriously need to see more.
