Would love to know the validity of such figures, I love me some physical discs and buy physical when possible but I think digital is way above just 10%/15% of total sales.
It does look amazing, hope it has Metroidvania like progression trough the world, more than just a side scroller beat-em-up, something like God of War mixed with Apotheon. Also hope the finishers are spammed in this video because is a proof of concept/pre-alpha footage so that they don't rely as much on them in the final build.
I really like how this game looks, hope it has Metroidvania like progression trough the world more than just a side scroller beat-em-up, something like God of War mixed with Apotheon.
Want to play Xenoblade SO MUCH!!!, but other than that there is nothing for me on the Wii U until they release the new Zelda (or Metroid).
PS4 has SO many at least on paper quality JRPGS that is just insane, the Psx/Ps2 era all over again, only wish I had as much free time now as I had back then, I know I will not be able to fully enjoy half of that list (if that), want to platinum everything but it's impossible with work in the way (Stupid Job, hahahaha)
I don't think hardware upgrades are going to show their way in either console manufacturer, of course, there will be revisions, eventually the Ps4 and XONE WILL be smaller and WILL come out of the gate with 1TB HDD, and by the end of the generation maybe even 2TB, these things will happen as the market will move towards digital, just for the PS+ and GWG games, these things are a given.

"Players don't care what critics say.
They will care if they are shown a game that looks fun and may want to play it."
I very much agree with that statement, but where will they be shown a game that looks fun? Not on Youtube or Twitch without paying Nintendo money, that's the entire point of this conversation, Nintendo is losing potential consumers with this attitude.
It's funny that on one side you have companies like MS and Sony that want you to share EVERYTHING, Screens, Videos, Recorded Gameplay, Live gameplay, Tweet about it, facebook it, tools for you to do montages of those videos of not only their first party games but EVERY GAME. Sony even added a button to it's controller just for that and a share play option where you can actually play games your friends have that you don't.
On the other side Nintendo wants you to pa...
SO we are NOT going to take into account the games that Sony will release troughout the year? those games stop existing for new PS4 users? there could be no way that a new Ps4 owner would want to buy an 8 month old game like bloodborne, EW!!! OLD!!!. For this year we still have ahead E3/Gamescom/TGS, not only for Sony, but for Microsoft too, we still don't know exactly what this winter season will look like.
Kill Strain, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, Tomorrow's...
According to this article if they DO announce new games for this year winter season at E3/Gamescom/TGS (they will) it wouldn't make sense because Sony would ONLY have 6 months to build momentum trough PR, so even if they do they don't.
My First Playstation game was Resident Evil 2 and with that game I realized gaming could be more than just a Toy (Don't even get me started with the Original Silent Hill), more than just entertainment, after that I played my first JRPG, FFVII, and my life would never be the same, I must have played every JRPG of the Playstation Era, even went back and emulated Nes and Snes RPG'S in my PC. If I am the gamer I am now is because of Sony and Playstation.
I'm really sorry for the developers and hope that Turtle Rock doesn't go trough any kind of layoffs, having said that, I'M SO GLAD that this game has already lost almost all of it's players, hopefully a lot of people refrained from buying it after reading of it's anti-customer practices, I know I did.
2K Really dropped the ball with this game, they should've made it a F2P game with microtransactions for cosmetic stuff, as it is there are A LOT of F2P g...
This would be true if the Wii U had the same third party games as the other 2 consoles on top of the best first party games so far in this generation, but it doesn't, the third party support is almost non existant, they may have the best reviewed exclusive games, but it's all they have so you can't really compare.
Final Fantasy X-2 was an all women party, Final Fantasy XIII, XIII-2 AND XIII-3 all had a woman as the main character. This is what they want to do this time, they want to tell a story about a group of friends on a road trip saving the world, they just so happen to be all males, no big conspiracy against women.
As a Ps4 owner this is the best lineup ever for Games with Gold, if Microsoft will do like this every month from now on Sony will have to step up it's game with the PS+ selection of games, for things like this is that competition is ALWAYS a good thing.
I don't have The Order: 1886, never played it so I can't tell if it's good or bad but what I can tell is that I bought Dragon Age Inquisition new for 40$ around Mid to Late december, not even a month and a half after release, and that's a game that has won numerous GOTY awards, so I don't think it means a lot in this day and age for a game to have it's price dropped.
I really hope it comes to consoles, this, Torment: Tides of Numenera, Pillars of Eternity, Shadowrun Returns and shadowrun: Hong Kong.
I know, I know, I should get a gaming PC, but I never got used to play sitted with a mouse and a keyboard in front of a monitor, last game I finished on a pc was Dragon Age: Origins when it just came out in 2009.
YES PLEASE!!!, a real fun minigame like Triple Triad is sorely missing from FF in a long time, the last good time consuming minigame was blitzball and that was FFX in 2001.
I started over and advanced FFVIII a lot of times just to play triple triad again (And it was a very good FF too, FFVII was a tough act to follow, and a lot of people at the time was dissapointed, but in hindsight is a really great game).
But, But, But, but, but IGN gave it a 9.0 and GameSpot and 8, with no reference to the 150$ worth of DLC day one, so it MUST be a great, rewarding and highly replayable game /S
With RE2 you could do the argument of having the 2 characters and Story A and Story B depending on which one you started first, but each individial story it was a very doable 2 or 3 hours playtrough, and that's the best Resident Evil ever, hands down (For Me).
With the 3rd you had a little more "replay value" with mercenaries (didn't interested me in the least), but the game was also a very quick speed run.
If by strike back they mean having a great winter season then yes, I'm pretty sure they will have great November/December sales in the US and a solid line up of exclusives, but if they mean selling more troughout the year (we're almost in May), then no, and this is by MS choice it seems, they just don't have exclusives to keep momentum trough the seasons.
