Yes, consoles are suited to the sit down with a few friends and play type, but games such as FPS, RPG, RTS are not suited to the small group multiplayer game type. What is 1on1 with someone compared to 30on30 over the internet. You gave up PC gaming for console gaming which is your choice, but most PC enthusiasts will never give up PC gaming, so having an Xbox360 and a gaming PC in my view is a bit redundant, since most of the "system seller" games are on or will come to PC anyway. ...
You do realize that this is already on PC and I wouldn't play it any other way.
Do you really want to be under the command of the worst President in history? Sorry, but I have no desire to die for a cause that is not my own, or to put my life in the hands of corrupt politicians who are only interested in furthering their own agenda. I would love to be part of a militia though.
They need PS3 devs so the engine can be supported by the PS3. The CEO of Crytek already stated that at this time they are not and have no plans to port Crysis to any console.
I'm a bit sceptical of Star Wars Action games, they never really seem to live up to the hype. They need to do more X-Wing/TIE Fighter Sims or another Dark Forces/Jedi Knight game, they seem to be the most successful of the franchise games.
Since they have already writen the manuscripts for the next 2 games. I like the fact that they are not showing the aliens and leaving some things to speculation. I'm sick of knowing everything about a game before I play it, it brings back the "Wow" factor.
All I wan't to know is if battles are going to take 6 weeks to conclude, like the show :)
I would like to see Halo use a little more physics besides just rag doll, and some destructable environments. Some of the environments still retain the square boxey feel, everything is so straight edge, I'd swear the devs hated curves. Gameplay wise the only thing I hope is that they don't pull a (Halo 2 or MGS2), and switch the main character mid-game again, I know it's part of the story line, but I just didn't enjoy playing the Arbiter. Other than that I'm sure it will be a very solid ga...
Does anyone remember Goldstar? They made the crappiest appliances known to man. Do you know what LG stands for?...Little Goldstar. If you call crap anthing else, it's still crap isn't it. I wouldn't worry about them as competition.
This may not be a reason to go out and buy a Gaming PC, which by the way just because it's will have directX 10 doesn't mean it has to be top of the line $800 at the least, especially because this game wasn't rated that well anyway, but this is an excellent example of why a PC gamer never has to get an Xbox360. I have plenty of games on my PS3 and PC to hold me over till I get the better version of the Xbox360 games.
On some of the pictures it's obvious which is real and which is fake. I was pleased that I had to do a double take on some. Sometimes you have to look for the small details to tell which is real and which is fake.
This looks nothing like the demo I played a year ago, which is probably a good thing, because I wasn't that impressed with the demo.
They are just now getting into PC gaming. Awesome rigs, but the high end system is going to be on the far side of insanely expensive
Say, for people who continue to live without the luxory of a high-speed internet connection.
With the 2+ year old MMO's.
Does anyone think Microsoft is intentionally cutting Sony out of cross-platform gaming? I think Sony should develop their own gateway for cross-platform gaming, and even better keep it free. Either way I am perfectly happy going head to head with other PC gamers, $1000+ gaming rigs keep the 12 year olds away.
And all Microsoft wants in return is your money and a piece of the PC's soul. Sorry, but PC developers aren't going to strangle their options or their innovation with restrictions on what MS deems necessary or un-necessary.
That might be because they are unsing a modified version of the Doom3 engine. Which is what, 4 years old now? This game better get released fast, because it's going to get dwarfed by Unreal 3.
I think I'm going to hold out for the ATI R600, to at least see how they stack up. I've not been very impressed with Nvidia lately. They still don't have the Vista drivers worked out properly. I still can't use both GPU's on my 7950.
There is nothing MMO about this game. It's just an online sports sim, if you pay monthly for this game you are an idiot.
