So let's get this straight. The Wii graphics are only slightly better than the GC. The GC graphics were slightly better than the PS2. Now, together, we should see the Wii graphics are much higher than the PS2, but according to you, somehow going up two steps leads you down one?

There's no question the Wii doesn't give the same experiance as the PS3 and 360.
Let's hope Sony and Microsoft learn that the gaming experiance is more than just graphics and catch up to the Wii on overall experiance.
Of course, by then, we'll be playing Nintendo's next system that offers a better experiance than the Wii, PS4, and Xbox Big Number, anyway.

I guess the roster update for Pokemon is bigger than the one for Madden. Neither adds a lot of must-have features from the previous version, though Pokemon has been out long enough that most people who want it should have it, when compared to Madden.
I feel like we've been to the point that graphics are good enough for a good 5 years. Last gen, even the PS2 had graphics good enough to make a graphics catagory obsolete.
Really, anything you do when rating graphics depends a lot on the game. Mario Galaxy will do anything but look lifelike, but so far, the graphics look great, and it fits. Halo couldn't pull off the same look, but its graphics, really, are no better or worse, just different.

Starcraft is 100% harcore. You just can't have it any other way. They'll have no problems with that.
My only worry is for the balance, because, so far, it looks like Terran is going to be the best race, by far, and we've only seen a few units.

PS2 was the weakest last gen console. The most powerful consoles don't always win the war. Xbox and GC were both much more powerful, but they never were the future.

I believe it was 40% of PS3 owners even know about bluray on their mechine, and only 50% of that use it. So you would be one of the vast minority, being 20% of PS3 owners, that enjoy watching your movies.
HD-DVD could deal a deathblow to bluray this year, if there is a massive price drop, say to about $100 for a cheap stand alone HD-DVD player. Might as well go for broke with the price advantage, because Sony is already taking heavy losses to stay competitive, and $100 HD-DVD...
This wouldn't happen on any large scale. It would just be a bad move for Microsoft. Think about it. Brand recognition means a whole heck of a lot. People will buy a DS, get, for instance, Halo DS, and if they like it, which will be the line of thought.

A. Not all Wii games are selling well. Wii games that are well thought out are selling well. Alien Syndrome isn't exactly flying off the shelves and into Wiis, either. It's just not a huge game. Boogie has the same problem.
