I would respond to that, but the fact that you were too lazy up to this point, to read or listen/watch anything about it on even Youtube, determines that it would be a waste of time.
Diversity of thought > diversity of color/orientantion/(insert any other thing I don't give a crap about, as it's just as important to me as what kind of food someone likes. Not interested. Don't care.)
I prefered the less diverse team, but the team which included all the talented people who left the company after Microsoft takeover, which resulted in downgrading the studio from the one of my favorites, one that made the games I loved the most, to a company which didn't release a single game since Banjo N&B that interest me in a slightest way.
And no, I'm not sentimental. I was already 19 when I played my first Rare game.
From Donkey Kong Country on SNES, to som...
Activision when someone in the conference booth accidentally confirmed the PC version of Crash Trilogy for PC:
- No, we don't have anything to announce regarding the PC version
Rockstar, 2 years after PC version of GTA V was complete, months before official announcement
- We don't have any plans for PC release
Same shit with Spyro, RDR2 and many many others.
Whenever those greedy assholes see that denying the o...

(Why I don't have REPLY button on your messages?)
""So all the devs saying the SSDs will allow new gameplay, features and designs are making it up? Including microsofts devs?""
Give me quotes. Loading times and bigger locations are not significant gameplay changes. This is not gameplay-related. Don't get me wrong, I fully understand what devs say and what SSDs will bring to the table, especially whe...
While I hate seeing ray-tracing hype at this point (clearly consoles (30fps) and PCs (1080p on 2080ti..) are too slow for it to be reasonable use of power and die space) I cannot agree that R&C is a good example of technology improving gameplay.
Here are my points about it:
- this looks like something which will be "cool" for a few minutes
- even if not, I'm not sure it fits the fast paced exploration+shooting style of the series
- if they...
Wow. The levels of lazyness and incompetence in terms of PC ports will always look for new bottom to hit.
And then they will say "we don't care because PIRACY", while companies who actually treat PC gamers respecitvely, make hundreds of milions of profit.
But nah. Let's remove the most of PC's advantages. Let's add file encryptions, DRMs eating threads needed for the game, let's not even CHECK the f...ing code like in this case.
Huge part of the magic of online gaming was the fact you met other true gamers. So we were naturally friendly towards each other. Jokes, praises, occasional "sorry" was all there was besides the gameplay communication. 2 decades later and you have to be lucky to end up on random server without meeting stupid brainless idiots.
Where there once was "thank you for that game, was a nice challenge. I wish I didn't lose, but I enjoyed the fight", now there are insul...
I don't believe that's a patch. It will be used to boost the sales of (by then) old game title, or it wil not be "full blown next gen version". Pick one. You cannot have both at once, I think.
Also. People reasonably expected Cyberpunk 2077 to be a game available at launch for nextgens. If any of the PR lies CDPRed shoots into the internet space on every opportunity were true, they would understand the gamers needs and expectations. They just started to me...
So the fan loved CDPRed, copies the approach from Take two and Activision with their ideas of "how to milk even more money" out of gamers.
Why bother doing the proper nextgen version at launch if you can make even more money slacking off and offering some "deluxe, 4K, raytrace, blahblahbullshit" version later. GTA V showed the way. "Money. Money. MORE MONEY!!!"
Let's just hope the "nextgen version" will not be j...
Let me put it this way. You are allowed to not like this mode if you use most popular displays.
But if you have access to 120Hz display, with real 120fps signal from the PC (or future consoles in some games), and if, that's super important, it has a good low persistence mode (go to blurbusters if you don't know what it means) then either you love it or you're lying about not loving it.
The sense of speed is simply too much to compromise. I always play o...
To me, looking at interesting worlds is the half of joy I get from this game genre.
And the rest, besides the graphics don't strike me as very high quality either.
It looks rather generic.
I'd be OK with all that if there was nothing, but we got a few decent platformers on PC recently and titles like Psychonauts 2 are on the horizon.
Well. Maybe when it's on some sale for dirt cheap, I'll give it a try. I like the idea of...
Yells "low budget", unfortunately.
I'd say it looks worse than best platformers on x360. A bit better lighting and postprocess effects, but the graphics itself - at times it reminds me PS2/Xbox era. Not a good thing.
Apparently men cannot get relaxed.
Besides the 8bit-styled one, which I skip (I was happy to leave those huge pixels behind, when I was selling my 8bit Atari, and don't miss it)...
None.
Not a single one of the games on the list escapes the "for women" style.
Not. A. Single. One.
Either it has to look childish or it has to make you feel sad and melancholy.
The only one that could, has to look in...
Exactly. Immediately after starting the video I was like "this couldn't be done on traditional disc drive" not to mention most 8bit computers used casettes.
It's been a while since I had my Atari 65XE. I don't remember now, but what was the floppy disk capacity for 8bit computer drives? 160KB per side? This video, even at such super low quality, would not be possible on such media.
Still, weird to see such quality of sound and animation from 8...
And I thought that stupid desaturation filter applied in Driveclub was the worst idea.
Are gamers really that dim nowadays that they are unware of the fact that their TVs have saturation slider, and when you move it to zero, you'll get exactly that - black & white image?
@Felix_Argyle_Catbro
Usually, most of the time, it's publisher's fault whenever decission bad for gamers is being made, but I must admit I don't know who is to blame here.
It's a remake of a game released for 1994 console. There's absolutely no reason for it to run at 30fps on Xone and PS4 other than arrogance of the publisher. Even now, when they have Switch version which I'm sure could run at 60fps on bigger consoles, they didn't even release a patch with 60fps option added if someone wanted to play this way. Cause why would anyone not want to, when playing a dexterity and reflex based game? But no. They chosed more marketing friendly way, so ...
That was obvious, especially since the "Accidents" like releasing 60fps trailers and one staff guy telling a journalist at some game show, that PC version will happen and will have 60fps. It was over a year ago.
Anyway. The real question should be - will it support 120fps? Low persistence monitors support, in other words.
Cannot be! What a surprise! x86 CPU and PC GPU, who ever saw old games playable on newer PC hardware! Absolute shocker!
It doesn't let me post the comment, so divided. Part 1/2:
This is exactly what I expected to see if I wasted my time to respond. Nonsense.
You come up with big words "I do, I work, I manage" and "show me studies". Oh. You're a smart guy, aren't you?
How typical. And of course, the gamers are "triggered".
I am mature enough, thank you. Probably twice as old as you are.
