It must be for one reason or another, seeing as how it is the "hottest" story on n4g right now....
I got mine a couple of years ago, but haven't had very many games to play until recently.
You should try monster hunter, if you haven't already.
There may be a demo on psn, but I'm not sure it's still there.
In 2007 and 2008, the psp wasn't worth it, while its main competitor was. Who would have recommended it?
After all these years, it finally has a decent library And is relatively cheap. Most people already have a ds, so they are looking foward at the 3ds/vita and some may even see the psp as worth getting at this point, having overlooked it in favor of the ds earlier. The psp is doing better than the vita in Japan for this very reason.
The psp may well experience a mini ren...
@blumatt
Not all of them. And once you've paid for all the memory cards required for a psp library, you might as well have bought a psp.
In the article, he said the sales are close to what Sony forecast.
This is the main difference between the vita and the 3ds sales and how they impact their respective companies.
Nintendo over forecast, making their sales look horrible when they were merely average to poor at worst. To meet this forecast, they droped the price resulting in a "loss" in profits.(not in a loss per system sold)
Sony forecast their sales realistically, making there sales normal and...
The vita has the entire sony legacy behind it, something the ps1 and 2 didn't have.
And the initial shipment has to have been supplemented by further shipments, so it is hardly selling out.
3ds didn't do this "bad" in its own launch frame, though. In fact, the only time it sold terribly was right after the price drop was announced and the immediate week before it occurred, for obvious reasons.
...what is it not on?
Lol ^_^;
This "finished" 3ds may never happen. Only if the slidepad takes off will Nintendo even consider splitting the user base, and that might be a couple of years from now.
...didn't Sony say something very similar with the ds~psp... or one of their other products in a similar situation?
Yes, this is true. Well said.
Ubisoft showed a couple of games at e3. And played them.
And what's wrong with a pre rendered video? Was it a problem for you with killzone years ago?
I thought this was already confirmed...
I guess I was wrong.
I myself, being a huge Nintendo fan, was somewhat disappointed in Nintendos e3. They should have (been able to have...) made a focus of the 3ds. It isn't that they shouldn't have unveiled the wiiu, but rather that it shouldn't have been given as much time or focus as it was given based on what info they were willing to divulge.
Despite this, I still think Nintendo had the best conference last year.
Oh, lord. Now everyone will think that there will be a revision soon wit a built-in stand...
...^_^;
I really want monster hunter 3g....
Stupid import mark-ups....
Retro has worked on many games for Nintendo, including mario kart 7.
Where have you been?
That's not cynical. To be cynical, there has to be some form of logic to go along with your negative views, which at this point no one has enough of to be justified.
Anyone actually expecting such detailed info about this out of CES doesn't know much about Nintendo.
RE:R on the 3ds and Uncharted: GA on the vita are both more expensive than their predecessors games were at 50$, rivaling most wii games.
