There wasn't much combat in the cold war, if you stayed historical. And any spec ops like stuff would be very modern war like.
See my above comment on the Civ. War.
I don't know much about the Mexican U.S. war, but if I'm not mistaken wasn't it really short?
And Vietnam... well, maybe that could work.
But like I said above, WWII wasn't just America in Japan and Europe. A game about/containing the story of Merrill's marauders (American f...
I'd like to add another: unexplored theaters of operation.
Pre war Japan vs Russia. The combat in burma. The Italian and Spain rebellions. British commando missions. And I'm sure there are more than this.
So much WWII history has been overlooked and would be perfect for inclusion or even the main focus of a video game.
Most of the game would be reloading, standing still, and dying.(unless it was a strategy game, but I assume we are talking about shooters exclusively)
That was the majority of the war and most of its major battles, after all.
It's n4g.
That's why.

I can't take your statement about tolerance completely seriously when you insult me in the same comment.
And of course people don't have to conform to a standard of behavior, as long as they don't go completely overboard. But if you want to do or have certain things(in this case, web space on Someone else's website.) You sometimes have to follow other people's guidelines or rules, which HHG must not have.
I disagreed with your general attitude.
Also, HHG's n4g headlines were always aggressively flaming and in my opinion obnoxious.
So I guess I disagree with you there too.
A little off topic, but what is the point of the "agree/disagree" system? Would disagreeing with Colwyn's decision be a proper use if you chose something different (this seems silly.), or is it supposed to be for opinion based comments only?
I need some clarification....
I don't think so.
At this point, a second stick would be a waste of resources, as no game requires one and few games even utilize the optional slidepad.
A 3ds revision is farther off than many on n4g seem to think.
I would guess a revision by spring next year, and I wouldn't expect a second stick as a sure fire thing.
I personally think the vita may see a revision sooner, as they are already actively talking about it, while Nintendo has actual...
@level
I missed it... sorry about one of those disagrees.
I guess I'm so used to people being serious on n4g when they say things like that...
I don't know about that. They are even at best.
At least capcom makes more than one noteworthy franchise.( I can't even remember what Activision does besides CoD.
I salute you, Admiral!
It's nice to see that someone gets it.
There are a lot of comments like yours here, and to be honest, they are upsetting.
Why can't a Nintendo console have a 3rd party exclusive without people whining about it?
You don't hear 3ds owners complaining, begging, waiting or wishing for MvsC 3 or any other vita game, so why should te 3ds be treated differently?
Every console has its own games. In this case, resident evil R. If you want it, buy a 3ds.
I'm sure that there are people wh...
Pokemon aren't aliens: they are nuclear mutant animals. This also explains why the towns are so small/lacking in a large population with constant reference to our real life cultures and societies: the pokemon world is earth after a nuclear armageddon.
Just like pikmin.
Why is this classified as "rumor"?
I thought they had the most steam going into this year, seeing as how they have the most games and an entire console with it's own as of yet unannounced games.
I can't agree with your hope as of now, but I do agree that this is awesome.
No mention of Ghost Trick?
Jerks... ^_^;
That's a flimsy argument, bwazy.
And of course it is dragon ball z, but why waste time witg the extra letter when, as you put it, everyone already knows?
I'm not going to sit here and blast or nag you. Just trying to say be careful what you say towards people, especially on this site.
^_^
Nintendo has made plenty of new ips in the last decade. Potentially more than nd has in their entire existence.(I'm not keeping score.)
Don't let someone else's unnecessary trolling cause you to spout offensive nonsense of your own.
To be honest, it upsets me to see people wanting good 3ds games ported to the vita.
Why can't we just accept each console for what it is and has on it individually? If you want this game, buy a 3ds.
I'm not accusing you of this as you appear genuinely curious as to the possible technical result of such a port. But this is a trend that has been bothering me for quite awhile.
Look at gametavern's comment.
Capcom probably wasn't the only 3rd party squawking, but they were most likely the loudest.
They are also the slidepad's biggest supporters, and one of their games was used to market the thing.(or was it the other way around? At its announcement in a Japanese gaming magazine, capcom called it their "secret weapon" for monster hunter on the 3ds.)
