Now, like I said earlier, I don't play ff so I didn't know much about the latest ones and their specific issues.
Although it doesn't change my above reply, it does put how people feel about the games into clearer focus.

Shenmue isn't even all that original in this regard, though more so than HR.

The hd collection is a straight port of the original, while the 3ds one has been classified as a "remake" by kojima. At the very least, they are equal, with the 3ds one having only minor differences, like crouch walking.(of course, hd collection has other games. But you didn't mention that; you were comparing mgs3 specifically.)
And while it is nice to see you being more accepting of the 3ds, calling it a "lesser" version is a little self defeating on that fron...
Not everyone will have a vita, and this is portable. You can't take an xbox/ps3 with you wherever you go.

I don't understand what you mean.
If you mean the vita hd collection, reread my comment. Not everyone will want to own a vita, so if they don't have a vita they can't play mgs2 or 3 on the go. If they have a 3ds, they can play mgs3 at least.
I don't think it will be as successful (focusing on the launch window timeframe) as many n4g regulars believe it will be, but outside that I'm not quite sure.
It isn't facing the same situation it was in Japan, and may have an easier time here. Although, that's not to say it has absolutely no complications to face in the west either.

I can't think of a single one.
If you are fighting crazy acting human shaped creatures throught a games entirety, and these creatures are a central focus, it is a zombie game.
Also, I agree with thich's sentiment. This is over hyped for what it is currently : a trailer from a high profile gamer.
If naughty dog wants gamers to take the game half of their products seriously over the cinematic aspects, then they shouldn't focus so much on the cinematics and reveal their games with actual gameplay inf...

Yes, the launch lineup is impressive. But I was noting the entire lineup of both consoles, from the 3ds launch untill the end of this year side by side.

And uncharted's climbing and jumping comes from Prince of Persia, while their cinematic themes come from Hollywood. The other 60% isn't original either, and even if it was, hasn't been very influential to all of gaming. And that is what this story is about in the first place.
