The psp was weaker and lacked any means of camera control.
The 3ds has a touch screen, gyro sensors, and an optional second stick which Activision/Nintendo could bundle with the game. (Edit~ the second stick attachment also grants the 3ds 2 extra shoulder buttons, making it even closer to a console.)
The 3ds can support a call of duty game.
"But anyone with far-sightedness never plays or watches TV without glasses because they think wearing glasses is "good for the eyes". Using your glasses every now and then is ok but continuously wearing it 24/7 for the rest of your life is extremely damaging to your eyes."
I knew it!!
edit
oh, wait... I posted "ps2"...
Supid headache... @.@
My bad.... >.<
@ coldwyn
I was only comparing ds and psp, not ps1 to n64. (*edit- oh, you posted ps2... unless that was a typo, which makes more sense...)
And I never said the psp was a failure: I own and enjoy one myslef.(Edit- Mon Hon is awesome ^o^)
And a Vita can't do anything that requires 2 screens at the same time, such as removing all of the hud clutter from a screen in order to show off the game world in all it's true glory and potential, so no a vita can't do an...
Exactly. Well said. Tip of the hat. Jolly good show. Other complements.
...seriously, bubble up and agree. ^_^;
Kind of like how the ds vs psp was ps2 vs n64?
Well, that's fine. After all, we all now how that turned out.... ^__^
It usually takes 2 years for the first revision. Such a model may be announced and released by years end, but I find March/May 2013 more likely, if at all before holiday 2013.
@king layers
And that is what makes the two screen set up so great. The top screen may be smaller, but it is all action.
A touch screen that can hold all the important hud and (sub menu screens without pausing or loading) at all times, leaving the top screen 100 percent free for in game visuals.
The two screen approach offers more than just a touch screen.
Ninja gaiden sigma is just a slight upgrade of Ninja gaiden on the original xbox with bonus content.
It is not really a ps3/360 level game.
Neither have many rpgs, and both are full of ports.
I don't know wether those numbers are accurate, but the sentiment surely is. ^_^
Speculating over which is "better" can be fun, but the actual truth is that they will both be loved and worth owning. Show me a ds hater or fan, and I'll show you a psp hater or fan right back.
So lets all just take it easy, and not get all riled up everytime someone writes a decently written article comparing the two... ^_^;
Cool.
And I like Nintendo games more than Sony games. ^.^
High five!
I agree with you too. I do, however, think that the headline takes things too far, and is doing so to garner attention.
It is a problem, but not a major one. This poster should have been focusing on spreading the word to inform people, not twisting around words to make a fiery headline.
Of course you have to buy MVsC3 twice to use its crossplay...
Oh, Capcom. You so silly.... >_<;
Sakura samurai.
Pushmo.
Kid icarus isn't completely new, but it is certainly different and fresh.
The fact that they launched the 3ds without them in the first place says the opposite.
Sony wouldn't even do that with the vita.
Sakura samurai.
Pushmo.
I tend to dislike when people jump the gun on the "for hits" argument, but this really is a trolling headline.
I agree.
Perhaps "announced" to developers?
I'm becoming more and more uncertain about next gen, announcement and release timing wise. So much conflicting info...
The basic nature of CoD is sound and the gameplay is fun.
However, The yearly released COD games are little more than 60 dollar map packs.
That is why they are despised.
