The 3ds could have dropped 15,000 and would still be better of, seeing as how it would still have sold more than all 3 PlayStations combined.
The vita drop is percentage wise higher. And either way, one would think that any drop would be difficult when so "few" are being sold.
It is too soon to call the vita dead, though. However, that doesn't mean that it is doing well right now either.
That's what I thought too.
Lol... ^_^;
It looks like they were. (At the time of this posting.)
Yay. ^_^
@elemental
How is his logic broken because you name a single game?
A game consoles value comes from its software, not its make up.
If you are going to praise the machine, do so based on what it will do and not on pure potential alone. After all, no one would want it at all if it couldn't even play games.
I think the main difference is that these are usually spin offs, and not just direct concept transfers.
This game is awesome.
Because those places use the method that a 1 to 10 scale is numerically meant to be used wrong.
5 is in the middle, meaning average. Everything above that is progressively better, or above average, and everything below is worse, or below average. This is how scales are supposed to work, but very few places actually follow this basic math principle.
I suspected as much. Nintendo and Capcoms Western MH history kind of speaks for itself in the online regard.
Hope this turns out to be true! ^.^
I'm a gamer. And I see them both for what they are.
I will not be buying a vita, and will be spending my money on the large list of 3ds releases in the coming weeks.
I do sincerely hope you enjoy the Vita, while I enjoy the 3ds.
Steam already does number 3, and I don't remember hearing confirmation that buying the ps3 version nets you the vita version on all games. ( though they would be stupid not to.)
I also though that cross platform play was something that has been done before too...
Were are you getting your numbers from? This article didn't post the actual numbers.
Furthermore, other sales trackers actually put RE at 1st by a decent margin, so I think famitsu is wrong here.
Pachter has years of experience, yet he is nearly always wrong.
Experience isn't always indicative of personal ability or knowledge.
Edit*
I'm not trying to completely disagree with you, Though. Just thought I'd give you something to consider on the subject. ^_^;

That's true. ^_^;;

Being bigger with a wide range of diverse products sounds more like it would make a company wether such troubles better, not worse; you have more sources of income.
Edit@cgoodno
I see. That makes sense.
@rezzah
I don't want to stoke this flame further, but I have to point out that the 3ds is selling better weekly in Japan than the vita.
Worldwide has nothing to do with that.
Was Nintendo vastly downgraded?
Edit I'm asking an actual question. Disagreeing seems kind of pointless.
The original ds also had a wrist strap, and every ds iteration as well as the 3ds have included the physical feature allowing such an attachment, even though they didn't come with one themselves.
Nintendo has stated that bits and pieces of info will come up before the big e3 information blowout...
120 degrees and no comments?
Huh.
OT, why does OT mean On Topic? Couldn't it also stand for Off Topic?
On Topic, 4 of the top 5 are 3ds games. Cool.
Last I heard they are.
And Nintendo is not selling the 3ds at a loss.
