When you aren't paying attention, of course you can say those things.
If you have been paying attention,you would have noticed the multiple eshop releases and(unfortunately) Japan exclusive IPS that they have been consistently making all this time.

And remember: the last story is Nintendo too, as they invested heavily in it with money AND direct influence.

That's pretty much what happens with stories around here...@_@;;;
Lol.

They left out a lot of Wii exclusives...

Perhaps. But remember: the Wii was a year "Late" and still trumped the 360 handily, taking away the 360's price advantage and besting it in install base very quickly.

I'm not so sure that a stupid fetishist game is more dangerous or sinister than potentially dangerous rouge nations with public known beliefs of genocide gaining access to WMD's...

And remember, Postal is a murder simulator and made in the west(unlike other games where you kill people, pre meditated murder of innocence is the only thing you do in postal). Not much different, yet never criticized on such a scale.

It can mean that. But this last gen doesn't give me much confidence that developers will use increased power for anything other than unnecessary glorified "shoe polish".

5079d ago 6 agree1 disagreeView comment

The problem I have with pumping up the power is how it is done: graphics get the brunt of the attention. From xbox to 360, the games were largely the same, but prettier(when they worked...) and unlike previous gens graphical horsepower as the main focus wasn't enough to actually advance games.

Hopefully, the advance of power will lead to more stable platforms with better performance, and increased complexity of ai and processing ability instead of just a bump up in visual...

"It seems that all games are overrated here"

I noticed that to.^_^;

Halo 1 was great and deserved praise in my opinion.
Every halo after that, however...^_^;

What you are asking for is to have all games and game machines be the same as each other, even if you don't mean or realize it.
Where's the fun in that?

5080d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

The touch screen was actually forgotten over time, and is featured less than often and even downplayed in most 3ds games.
But all ganes use both screens, and it truly is the defining feature of the systems. Especially in games that made great use of it like Henry hatsworth, knights in the nightmare, mh3g, ninja gaiden and many more.

@slapshot
Wow. I didn't think of such a possibility myself(the ps4 streaming bit specifically), and find it very plausible and interesting.
Bubble up.^.^

@testo
In many ways, yes.
IMO, halo 1 is miles better than any other halo.

Fable has been getting worse and worse(though I never liked it anyway^_^;). Soul Calibur too.

Uncharted is a basic shooter elevated to "god" status by fanboys.

There are good games for all 3 systems of course. But these are supposed to be the top of the crop for these consoles? Of their genres? They are the same and often worse than last gen. ...

The idea of a wiiu version is incredibly exciting.
But I got the original on 360, and would like to carry over my save....-_-;
And then there is the possibility of a vita version?
I can't get the same game 3 times in less than a year. That would be kind of... dumb...(of course, I am willing to get mh3g a second time...>.>)

If you mean Multiple SKU's, I'm not so sure about that. Nintendo doesn't do multiple sku's at launch

We did hit a graphical ceiling of sorts at the start of this gen, and had to pay for the pretty graphics that were achieved with platform stability, framerate issues and generally lower framerate overall, bad ai and overall buggy, more expensive games...

The gen has only recently started to actually come into it's own, and has had a rocky road to get there. Not only that, but were we are now is really good, and all that is needed are overall performance improvements for g...

THIS is what was wrong with Nintendo's E3: They had stuff to show, and they didn't.
I get that you want to hold your cards close to your chest, and I love that about you Nintendo, but you have to play sometimes... and a half-year media dry spell for the west that led up to a mass media showing devoid of new content was not the best way to go.

You may have stuff to show, but by waiting just a second to long you have damaged the impact that the info would have h...

Reminds me of the Luigi's Mansion Green 3ds rumor from earlier this year(If that turns out to be true, then that shows how far ahead Nintendo is planning at any given time...O.O)

Any chance Either of these things are actually legitimate? I have may doubts... seems like a fan mock-up.

Edit: Yes it is:

Buy freedom unite on psp(if you haven't already)
Great game and on a sony platform. There, done.

If you have it and are a fan that doesn't want a 3ds, then I don't exactly know what to say. P3rd most likely isn't coming, and I doubt p3rd HD(same game, but on ps3) will either. Another Monster Hunter on a Sony platform may be a ways off(if Capcoms recent behavior is any indication...), unless they make a p3rdG for psp. And then that would have to be loca...

It has been confirmed by nintendo and ibm. I'm sure that there are more places than wikipedia that will confirm this as well.
