I would love BL on a handheld, but I got the original on my xbox and will be getting the sequel for that as well. And while I *may* be willing to buy it again, an original entry would be unmissable.

I disagree, actually. In my opinion, it is perfect for pick up and play with its lax mission structure and quick gameplay.

There are plenty of great 3ds games, dozens of eshop games, and FULL backwards compatibility with ds games(including, I believe, non dsi imports)
But what klecser may be trying to say is for 250 dollars you can get a 3ds and games(at least 1), while the same amount will get a vita without a memory card and no games.

He wouldn't be "crying" over it if it was as significant as spilled milk. These things have a snowball effect and harm stock values, as well as panic or disturb shareholders which affects stocks more.
The Sun ran an incredibly ridiculous smear campaign that GREATLY damaged the public image of the 3ds. Nintendo has every reason to be upset over this, as they have been affected by it both in PR and financially.

Nintendo HAS been subjected to baseless criticism, and not just with their 1st party work; similar smear attacks were launched by disgruntled fans against Mh3g and DQ9 in Japan.
And do you seriously believe that these haters don't exist? Or have you forgotten the DEATH THREATS Sony fans sent to the ff developers, among others over going MP?

More like they were able to truly focus on making great games without the need to spend horrendous amounts of money and time on what amounts to shoe polish.
They weren't lazy(at least not most of them) they were doing what the western devs SHOULD have been doing: making great games that are interesting, fun and finished products. Focusing on SD consoles allowed them the ability to do this without the pressure and expense that the HD consoles would have ...
