Basically, it was Nintendo and a well funded great sequel, or someone else and a watered down misguided shamble of a game.
Furthermore, Between all publishers capable of "rescuing" this game in all realistic expectation were Nintendo and Ubisoft. I don't think Ubisoft would be willing,(They appear hesitant to revisit their own niche titles) And Nintendo is also currently helping make the wonderful 101 with platinum and is based in Japan. Being the console manufa...
I thought being Multiplatform ruined games like Final Fantasy. At least that's what all the rage then lead many to believe. NOW, it is exclusivity that damages franchises?
Give me a break. -_-;;
Those people are blind to all the great games the Wii actually has. Their "fears" are groundless, and that's the problem.
Well, there's this:

Not exactly what you wanted, but interesting in its own right.
You are comparing a phone market to a game market... market share doesn't work like that.
They are the only games company not in financial straits or in need of being ultra careful.
They really don't need to do this, and it would actually hurt them more than help anyway.
People can work while they wait.
You can also wait while you work.
I have seen plenty such people all over the web. Especially here.
Fortunately, they are a minority; or at least they aren't very vocal.
There is legitimate criticism, and then there is illogical, un-factual Bull crap. The Latter is what bothers me, and what those wanting the WiiU to fail cling to.
I wouldn't worry about NG3 based on many previews... other than the fact that it is still NG3...^_^;;
Overall, I also wouldn't worry about the WiiU graphically based on quick launch day ports/MP titles.
They gave CoD, Skyrim, Battlefield and Uncharted very high marks as well.
What's your point?
Yes, it will go from "non existent" to "Holiday 2013"...
...
When has Sony ever been able to keep a big secret? While I won't completely rule out a 2013 release all signs point to that not happening, and the evidence for this keeps piling up.
A couple things I think should be considered:
This isn't a NEW console release, and there are other PS3 iterations still being sold. This thing doesn't need to have a huge presence, and having few overall consoles sell out would be better than making a ton that sit on shelves. Quantities could be purposely "small" in order to maintain realistic expectations.
On the other hand, with several stores having no availability and Amazon running out...
@Wishing
Miyamoto playtests all games in is franchises and relays important information, criticism and advice to the teams involved. What he says goes, regardless of who is in charge of the project. He also plays a pretty heavy role in hardware.
He was, is and always will have a heavy hand and influence in the industry. No one who thinks themselves knowledgeable of this industry or its history could dispute this.
But then he teams up with kutaragi and defeats the evil EActavision Man, enabling them to resurrect the ancient Atari using the pacballs... and peace is restored.

Sorry, couldn't help myself...
Damn I'm bored...-.-;;
Kind of like your comment history on this site.

Having an actual conversation with hatsune using truth and logic is next to impossible.
I wonder if he/she is just a satirical account sometimes...
Supposedly, one of the Bandai Namco guys is trying to push for localization.
Fingers crossed...
I don't know, but I can tell you one thing for sure:
You aren't getting off this planet in a bus...^_^;;
They have that one... I want to say it's called project cars, but I don't pay much attention to the racing genre...@.@;;
You need to check your facts. Bayonetta was a Xbox exclusive made into a crappy PS3 game. Very similar to FF.
Furthermore, how it became MP doesn't matter, as it could have been the greatest FF ever and the people upset would still have been angry. JUST like how they are upset over Bayonets no matter how good it ends up being or selling.
