Remember: Having the "best line up" doesn't mean everyone will love it.
The Vita has been said to have one of the best lineups in gaming, yet I really found it uninteresting on a personal level.(Would Gravity Rush count as launch window? That game looks cool.)

The WiiU has many games that I'm looking forward to in the launch window, although I'm hoping the actual Launch day/holiday season gets filled up a little better...
Can't wait f...

I think it will do well.
How well... now that's the real question. And will however well it does be perceived as good enough.

The next few months will be interesting, and hopefully in a god way.^_^;;

No Ninja Gaiden 3?
Huh... I'm still wondering if it will be any better than what many have said about the 360/ps3 one...>.<;;
One can hope...

I'm sure some of these stories are only trying to help people decide... and even if they ARE trying to make definitive "I'm right, everyone else is wrong" assertions, I'm sure people will use their own minds to figure out what's best for them.^_^

@Zebra
I was talking mainly about the ds style data display, not game streaming.

This is something the vita won't support at the same level as wiiu, for obvious reasons.

@Studio
The vita connectivity isn't innovative either. The gc did all that first((or dreamcast, depending on how you look at it)

The fact that it is an all in one experience IS the first of its kind, however. No one else would have done it, and it hadn't been done before... that is borderline "innovative" in my books. Not a huge shift, but perhaps just enough to matter.

It's TIME. Maybe I'm wrong, but they don't sound like the most reliable game coverage outlet...
^.^;;

@studio
nah, just the new console rollercoaster. First, the skepticism. Then, the huge high, along with plenty of excitement, followed by a release and happiness that becomes anger, frustration and cries of impending doom. Then things settle down, and the world is right back where it was before all this started, except we all have different games ...

The wiiu comes in 2 models: one will have 8gb internal storage and the other 32. It can support patches just fine.

It will also support what sounds like ANY USB or sd card memory solution. A decent sized sd card is dirt cheap, but more importantly most people who would want more memory will most likely already have a thumb drive or spare card lying around.

This isn't on the same level as the vita proprietary memory or the Xbox situation. Far, far from it....

Pff...
Maybe based on its shape and size... as it does look like a UFO.

Ok, ouch. Really, the thing looked like a Foreman Grill. And it's. not like it is a high end pc or anything... The xbox360 runs Multiplatform games better on average(when it's not breaking)

People need to lighten up...^_^;;;

The PS3 had lots of power too. It also got the shaft when it came to third party games, with 360 being the lead and PS3 being too difficult and costly to develop for.

And the thought that the PS3 had more or better exclusives is just untrue. All three main consoles had about the same. PS3 just has more *now*. How those titles are received is just a matter of personal preference.

That's what they've done this gen after all. Xbox360 upped for pc and PS3. The Wii was left behind because it was too far back in power( plus, the Xbox launched first). I don't see the wiiu being left as far behind this round.

This is something people don't notice: A LOT of devs of and publishers have great relations with Nintendo. Level 5 and capcom(edit: Add tecmo koei to the list, what with NG and other recent tie ins) have deep longstanding relations with Nintendo publishing and marketing the Layton, dragon quest and monster hunter series in the west. Capcom even made ZELDA games for Nintendo.

So, why are they getting all these games that others arent? Deep, longstanding equal relations. So...

I agree with the second and last paragraph. But the first and third are still in the air, specifically(right now anyway) the first statement. So-far unannounced games could really affect the next 12 months in an even more positive way.

Though I am unsure the wiiU, even if greatly successfully, will be able to sell as much as many here think...@.@ though I may haven't thought about WW sales much...

I think those things were confirmed for CoDBlops2... but I can't remember.
You may be able to google that part of the conference and see if they mention it. I can't imagine they wouldn't support these features...

There will be two pad support down the road, but not at launch or within the launch window. Nintendo has stated 2 to be the maximum.

People may be disagreeing with your lack of knowledge on the situation... which is kind of stupid. If that is why, they could have just told you...-_-;;
Regardless, don't worry about it. ^_^

While it is a possibility that a slim ps3 can boost ps3 sales and hurt sales of the wiiu, the fact that the ps3 already has a high install base can't be ignored either.

Are there so many people already without a ps3 that a cheaper variant could directly impact wiiu? That's the question, and currently I'm uncertain that it would have any major impact.

Several NL games have full "lengthy" campaigns in single and multiplayer. It is a full featured game, though wether it is "$60" worth will have to wait for reviews with deeper detail.

And nsmbU wouldn't be considered unworthy of full price by anyone... if nsmb2 and sm3dl hadn't just come out. That's just a matter if perception and situation...

No they are sadly LEADERS in that regard, as regional releases and accompanying region locking is gaining steam in the industry. I wouldn't be surprised to see more companies follow persona the arena's example in the near future.

Which really sucks...-_-
