Regardless of Comparisons, 300$ isn't exactly "cheap".
Yes. But I think too many are focusing on tech specs over actual game design. Many just to have a weapon against whatever company they are railing against at the moment.
Last I checked, people are buying the next gen console for the promise of fun games, regardless of graphics. The available software justifies the purchase, not some floaty perception of potential visual capability or rather what that capability *should* be.
The value comes from the SOFTWARE quality and hardware stability, Not the other way around. That's why the 3ds sells better than the vita, and why the psp sells better than the vita. Good games are the reason we buy co...
What annoys me is the 3ds to wii comparisons, especially when 3rd party support is concerned. Shouldn't we be comparing the 3ds to the... DS?
Of course not... because the ds had no 3rd party or attach rate problems to harp about...-_-;;
Much of tri was "ported" to the psp in MHP3RD. This game included all the weapons absent from tri, more new monsters and a different village with a separate story, while lacking underwater combat. THIS game was then ported to the PS3 with a slight graphic upgrade.
So, why haven't you heard of them then? Japan only, due to contentions between Sony and capcom over changes Sony allegedly demanded with no support given and no leeway.
This game is th...
Monster hunter triG was the Japanese version of this. The original, monster hunter tri was a Wii game with less content and fewer weapons.
Simply put: this is NOT a Wii port, but an upgrade of the base Wii/3ds game, complete with better graphics and loads more content.
It has 50% more content and all the weapons excluded from tri.
That should totally be their marketing catchphrase...
"Whu ... what are you, and why are you in mah living room??
"I am WiiU. You're soul is mine"
Nintendo"
... would be funny... but I don't think it would help it sell...>.<
Lol.^_^
Perhaps the game play maps are in chibi but the character art and scenes are not?
Like old FF games.
Wait... big bird can fly?? O.o;;
I would probably take pokemon. Except the ones with "bite" as their attack...
Plus, if I weakened any zombie enough, I could just catch it with a spare pokeball... I could catch em all, in fact...
I would think he would just end up a real zombie himself...
Same goes for yoshi...
It's also compatible with all ds games that don't require a gba port(which is nearly all of them) And has a strong online shop((not saying stronger than ps shop per say, just that it is there along with all that other stuff)
Chartable software has been dominated by 3ds software for months in Japan though, so I don't exactly see what you mean... things over here may be another story with the comparably slow release timing but several games will be coming in the ne...
The 3ds actually has a deep lineup full of high quality exclusives especially in Japan. The Vita has mostly Multi platform games and few exclusives... along with few games overall. Not to mention a higher price point with those fewer available titles and ridiculously over priced required proprietary memory cards...
Seriously, it should be no wonder and would be astounding if it were the other way around. The 3ds is a worthwhile game system now and has plenty coming soon and f...
"denies" Implies they are most definetly lying...
But if we look at the track records of understanding Nintendo between 1)Analysts and 2) Nintendo, we would see Analysts wrong a gazillion times and Nintendo wrong... maybe half a dozen? Probably less, actually.
So, since we can't know ourselves and have to trust someone else, I would sooner trust Nintendo themselves on something like this than any analyst...
Of course, the truth is probab...
Also @dc1
it's always nice to see smiles and well thought out comments on this site.
High five!

@Dc1
The psp flourished under monster hunter, not the other way around. Furthermore, Nintendo took bilateral steps with capcom to increase the series popularity, something Sony never did and even impeded on by making demands of any mh release in the west.
With the 3ds selling on its own merit and Nintendo helping to promote the series internationally mh will see far more success than it ever did pulling what was a deadweight console for an obviously ungrateful compan...
No, but you can watch them on any number of the other devices you are bound to own. AND you won't have to pay an extra $50+ dollars on your wiiu for what would amount to being a pointless feature.
Monster hunter 3g, rune factory 4, senran kagura, harvest moon, resident evil... just a few 3rd party games with great success on 3ds.
Then there is mh4, fantasy life, bravely default, Phoenix Wright and plenty more incoming. The 3ds has INCREDIBLE 3rd party support in line with the ds, and it's only getting better.
Look up the facts before spouting crap.
Psp= strong library in Japan that keeps getting stronger
This is the actual reason.
Wasn't it at the new York comic con?
Monster hunter was. A lot of wiiu stuff was actually.
