Capcom blamed Sony for not helping(refusing to update ad-hoc party for the west which is required for online play in the game) and for also demanding Trophy support be added if it made it west, according to capcom.
Sony has basically said on the matter of localization and new sony entries: it's up to them(capcom), and 'ask capcom'.
We may never know 100% why, but it appears Sony demanded changes while providing no help or support in return.
The market may have changed, but just because it changes once doesn't mean it can't be changed again.
Perhaps even greater change in the market awaits... that could be favorable to the wiiu overall.
Their reason makes some sense... what doesn't make sense is their lack of actually coming to a good solution. I'm sure they could find a way to code so that ALL wii content could use the GP as a mini tv... So what exactly could be SO problematic that they "can't"?
On the 3ds/wii double dipping, I wouldn't be surprised if they implemented an account based structure linking your wiiu and 3ds for VC purchases and stuff in the future... but I also wouldn...

I didn't say anything bad about Sony here. It is also hard to feel "threatened" by a game console.

You seen to say "u for upgrade" as if you are insulting the wiiu... but ALL next gen systems ARE. "upgrades"...
And on the price drop; they would have happened regardless of the PS3slim 2 because of the wiiu, slowing hardware sales and holiday season enticement. The new PS3 model Is just Sony's own version of this.
Awesome game. Played it twice.
But it wasn't until I recently completed TotA on 3ds that I realized how bad I had been playing all my other games games...>.<;;;
Sony isn't in the same position they were in when their slow and steady approach actually worked .. if it isn't what helped put them where they are in the first place.
I wouldn't cry doomed just yet or anything, but that doesn't mean things don't look bad.

I have heard this is standard procedure for many in the industry. Less than 10% were laid off by this, so it kind of makes sense.
Still wouldn't surprise me if lionhead ends up gutted by MS eventually though..

The Wii is a great deal sure, but at this point one might as well wait for the wiiu and its full backwards compatibility with Wii games.
The CoD wiiU game actually hits shelves at the same time as the others, if I remember correctly.
Not that it matters but so much... This will most likely not sell as high on wiiu as it will elsewhere for the reasons you have stated... ^,^;;
