Love the original and was excited with the announcement trailer, have since become skeptical.
As a fan I want a single player game with no microtransactions. I do not want gaas or multuplayer focus.
I don't know what I'm getting currently with this game, if it is the latter then it is a pass.
This trailer makes me hope the game has a photo mode.
Indeed.
Despite that, Focus Home Interactive have become one of my favourite smaller publishers. Blood Bowl 2, the Styx games, Vampyr, A plague tale, Greedfall, The Surge (with number 2 incoming). Lots of fun to be had.
Yeah he does a great Wolverine too.
FFVII is looking better and better.
I'm fairly sure they actively look for things to be offended by/outraged by.
That, or they have some particularly delicate sensibilities.
Yep im enjoying it. Looks good, plays well, interesting premise so far (only 5-6 hrs in). Glad I picked it up.
That said there are some graphical issues (dragon age hair, general clipping) and jank.
Very fun if you like these types of game. Played it quite a bit back on the ps3.
Picked up Unruly Heroes. Mokey Magic meets Rayman. Looks great and it's fun.
They have good tast. Inside in an amazing game.
Yeah it definitely doesn't seem like good news. Let's just hope you are wrong.
I know they downgrade graphics but i'm not so worried about that. They have frequently made it known they are against microtransactions, loot boxes, and exploitative dlc in full price games. I respect that.
They seem passionate about what they do, i.e. not just another game factory churning out the same thing each year looking to get as much money out of their customers on an annual basis using whatever means necessary. Thus, at least relative to many of their peers in ...
I love CDPR for their consumer friendly practices in an industry which is rife with greed and lacks integrity.
That said they have not handled things well with Cyberpunk. It was announced way too early and there has been some poor communication leading to unfulfilled expectations and dissapointment from many fans.
I still can't wait to play it as it has been my most anticipated game since it was announced. I completely understand why people are concer...
Great interview with him talking about his art on Archipel (youtube channel) for anyone who's interested.
Leading the way in innovative new gameplay mechanics? Nope. In impressive new ai or technical achievements? Nope. In monetising and squeezing more $ out of consumers? Check!
Not something to brag about.
Good choices I would add Days Gone and Metro Exodus. Both Brilliant.
Back when Naughty Dog were making Jack and Daxter and Insomniac were developing Ratchet and Clank I thought both these studios were on par. Back then they shared technology and it seemed quite a bit of dna.
I think Insomniac could be a Naughty Dog level developer now that they have access to 1st party resources.
Agree. Inquisition was still really good but they need to remove all sjw garbage and microtransaction etc from future games and just focus on making a great single player rpg. Don't know if they can do it though.
Definitely. Sitting at the top for 2019 so far along with Days Gone and Resi 2.
Product of his environment and a father. Not a villain.
The gameplay and game itself is really good/fun. The horribly exploitative locked content and microtransactions are a disgrace. They are inexcusable.
Personally my biggest regret this gen buying this game and supporting these practices.
