Wii is a fad that has just lived longer than most fads do IMO. The game line up for 2008 is nothing to get excited about, the graphics are last gen, and for me its just not that interesting.
Learn how to use spell check. I love that PS3 attempt at a slam at the end, unless you have proof other than "I work at Best Buy" its spam and crap.

One month down and PS3 has outsold X360 worldwide for the past month, guess there goes your first theory. Next, its JANUARY all sales are going to be down a bit. You listed 2 games from the PS3 2008 lineup and acted like that's it (which is far from the truth), then you go on to list ONLY Gears 2 for X360 and pretend that means X360 will win???

I cannot stand Microsoft for a lot of reasons dating back to how they "created" Windows. I have never liked their tactics and while yes I agree all companies are out to make a profit personally I have just never liked M$ and their approach.

PoG loves IGN and GS (and a few others) until they post something he disagrees with then he jumps in with the hate. Oddly though his/her posts have been pretty mature as of late, I was almost becoming shocked at the change.
Their market wasn't smaller, yes they actually had competition in the Wii and PS3 I agree, but the market for this gen is still wide open. There are a LOT of PS2 owners sitting around (and a couple Xbox original) that haven't moved over. X360 could have tried to pull some of the PS2 fans to convert (and they probably got some I admit), but PS2 is still selling very well. Eventually PS3 or X360 have to gather in some of that base (or the Wii but why trade out PS2 graphics for PS2 graphics o...
But personally I feel Wii is a fad, a crazy extreme fad but still a fad. They don't have a ton of games coming out that are "amazing" this year and the graphics are last gen versus both PS3 and X360 being this gen. Who knows though, maybe it will continue to do what its doing, which is shocking the world IMO. I also don't think either MS or Sony game planned much for the Wii.

X360 did it while only competing with PS2. PS3 did it while up against X360 and Wii. I applaud both systems but if you want to compare facts lets compare facts.
Sony lowered the number from 11 million to 9 million projection by March, yet you turned 11 million into 15 million???
Nothing against M$ but while the X360 is selling at a SLIGHT profit currently everyone forgets the $1 billion they spent on the extended warranty which adds up to a loss on every X360 sold.

As to what little bit of non PS3 slamming you did there, M$ has MORE sku's on the X360 than Sony has on the PS3 so I suggest you read up on the facts, then head on over to the open zone or even better GET DELETED BY THE MODS!
Yes they would have to nearly double and yes right now they are only doing about 20k more PER WEEK, but it IS January and the big software titles are just around the corner so they could still do it. I am a Sony fan and think we will beat out X360 by a long shot but PS3 would be hard pressed to beat them this year, though it IS possible just not probable until next year.
As to declaring X360 a winner??? Lifetime sales on PSOne and PS2 show this race is far far far from over and...
If anyone would ever bet with you that the first to 10 million wins they were high. X360 was out for an ENTIRE YEAR without fighting Wii or PS3 for sales. I would never give a machine with the abilities of X360 a free year in a race to 10 million, and yes I think X360 is a great machine just not as good as PS3 IMO. Also worth mentioning is why would a mark of 10 million be set with how many units PSOne and PS2 sold lifetime so far? If you want to be honest Wii is winning anyway.
