Big announcement: Gears 2 is coming to pc! no i'm j/k - it is 'microsoft's conference' after all.
Epic has acquired Chair entertainment and People can fly in the last 2 years so it's very possible they could announce a 360 exclusive and a PS3 exclusive at the same conference. So i don't think this would completely rule out the PS3 exclusive rumor yet.
While the premise is thought provoking and sorta funny, The game/gameplay itself looks like a joke in itself.
This is going to be a low blow to all the Microsoft fanboys that thought Epic was in 'Microsoft's Corner.' I can't recall how many bots putting Epic in the list for Developers working on Microsoft's empty 360 exclusives list for 2009. Epic was said to be making a new IP for sony not long after gears 1 came out, and now it's come to fruition, tough love 360 boys - you might still get Gears3 if MS pays up though next year.

I'm pretty sure the reason for 360 being left out is most 360 owners have the 20gb model, which is only 13gb or so in space usable, and who knows what MS actually lets companies use out of that. The age of conan devs were complaining about this issue somewhere before working on their 360 port - which is no where to be found yet. The fact of the matter is MMOs are huge games, constantly expanding and you don't want to be boxed into 12-13gb max for a game. FFXI already ...
I KNEW IT, I've been saying this all along, I was willing to bet this game was going to skip the 360. It's simple. Most 360's still have 20gb hard drives(13gb usable) and that's not really acceptable for a full HD MMO, as well as expansions. It's just not going to happen on that amount of space. And to upgrade just to play this game it costs $99 minimum yea they'd sure move a ton of units on 360.

Hey i still play this game from time to time, glad they're finally giving PS3 a port, the game is still alive and well still adding content. I can see SE doing this trying to work the free trial angle on PSN, where they couldn't on xbox live. I'm actually thinking they might not make a disk version and just have it on the PSN. Game still has many years ahead of it, hopefully more expansions to come.

you guys notice he says price is the main problem, where he's from they're charging the same price as a full PSN game. In the US it's 5.99, and full PSN games are 9.99. To me the packs didn't feel all that great, but that doesn't mean Killzone2 isn't a great game. And all in all i'd rather see more single player storyline than more multiplayer maps, although the more maps the better.
I would doubt Rage is 'almost finished.' Carmack was vocal about needing more space for the game and they talked about how they had to lower the scale of the game to fit on 2 disks. My predictions is that they will announce MGS4+ then announce MGS5 as multiplatform, I really don't see them swapping exclusivity if it is MGS5.
I don't mind realistic physics at all, but if it trys to clone GT5 this game will suck pretty bad, and has little to no chance of matching up to GT5. Go back to your roots NFS.
Funny this this thing leaking out might throw people off the scent of the real PSP revision coming out, It does clearly state it's the PSP3000 not a new revision we're all waiting for. It's interesting to see the new PSP might not be called the PSP go after all. Maybe the new psp will exist along side the existing PSP, maybe it's a psp phone?
Things been in stock for a month long at my local walmart, there's 20 or so there last i checked, but I won't buy it cause i know nintendo's ripping me off at $250, when their competitors sell at a loss or close to (hope Sony makes a wiimote for ps2 and forces them to drop the price finally). I played the demo of the new wolverine game, there's nothing special about it, it's a generic beat-em-up that doesn't push graphics. I can only assume the reviewers are comic fans themselves, I could see that as a reason someone might enjoy that game. Wolverine is medeocre in every way. It is an insult to put the score so close to Infamous.

-I don't know why a video store would not go live oversees in due time considering they have all the software all ready to go for when they do. I'm sure it will happen once all the licences issues are sorted out and the like.

Since they did the movie store last year, Might be a music store this year, or the special music program thing that was rumored about.
Since they can't have unified custom soundtrack support (Thanks to an MS Patent), they should give an option to play music over the top or instead of sound from the game you're playing.

If they did make another game it would be mostly made by a completely different team, would you really want another game if it didn't have the same exceptional music, and everything else you've come to love about the series? It would need a huge budget to do it justice, but unfortunately wouldn't sell like a final fantasy or dragon quest game.
I actually find their reasons for not releasing another chrono game respectable.
