Sad they're trying to sell the game on the 'sex' feature. We all know there's a lot of people that will buy it based off that. Seems like the game has cruddy graphics (on consoles), no voice acting so they're getting desperate. My recent xbox mag said it wasn't looking too good even. I'm sure the 'mass effect' sex thing helped it's sales as well they're trying to use that here again.
Seems to me like Microsoft has been eying the Bucks being made on Sony's PlayStation home and are trying to reap some of the revenue. Microsoft can't do a 'home' because they don't have a built-in hard drive, so this is their best alternative.
When he says niche You have to look at the jrps on 360 not published by microsoft. Tales of vesperia, the last remnant, and star ocean all fit in that category. Tales is coming to the PS3 in Japan, I don't see why it would be that difficult to localize - since most of it already was.
Star ocean seems definite, the last remnant was a bomb i think SE probably gave up on that one.
The other game i would think might be dead rising one, they were rumored to be working on a PSN...
Well you could say ratchet could be done on 360 all you like, but the proof is in the pudding, where is this game that looks comparable to ratchet? I have banjo, and apart from some higher res textures here and there it's not on the same level as ratchet and runs at a much lower frame-rate. Viva pinata, fable2 no; not even close.
Ratchet looks amazing, I'm still kind of amazed everyone leaves ratchet out of all the graphics talk, when It definitely deserves a spot. The demo on ratchet doesn't do it justice, you have to get further in the game the graphics just get better (the snow level is crazy) And btw Ratchet runs at 60 fps toy story ran at 30 fps. It will be better in some ways worse than toy story in others I'm sure.
This is really no 'Sale' Newegg's prices are always like that, I guess people might think so because they do sell games cheap. I usually check the site every couple weeks to see what I can get for cheap.
Beware of the sleeping giant and $299.99. Lot of people seem to forget PS3 is still way too expensive - it won't always be that way and we're about to see a massive change in the way the system's have been sold. Sony will edge themselves to being more and more price competitive with MS until they're close to equal in price. And the Wii fad is dieing, I see it in every store now, it used to be in stock nowhere. Sony is in position for a comeback.
They charge you for the service then get greedy with still putting ads in front of the screen. It's quite obvious they don't have to do it and it's purely a cash-grab. Sony does just fine without the revinue from forced interfaced ads, why can't microsoft.

The US patent office has become a f-ing joke. Intellectual property rights to this extent is really just absurd. Chalk this one up as yet another reason why you should hate Microsoft.
If the graphics on this thing are as good as they look in the screen shots, I'll definitely be picking it up on the PS3. The bad thing is I might end up wondering what the 3rd section they canned would be like. (thanks to MS)

If this is true Microsoft is dead in Japan for good. And it means JRPG developers have finally got the hint that jrpgs don't sell on xbox 360, and they have to support the PS3 or they'll have no market to sell too - the bribes have cost them a large market to sell games to with PS3's stunted growth over there.
They didn't make Bully they ported it to 360 and PC. Rockstar Vancouver Made bully. These guys have yet to prove themselves.

I find it ridiculous when people keep bringing up what Activision said, as if Activision was going to pull ALL it's PS3 support from the platform. Are you ....ing stupid? That is A lot of money you'd be missing out on, It's obvious if they 'pulled support' it would only be on their lower-budget lower-tier quality games. They're not going to stop making a PS3 CoD, unless MS pays hundreds of millions.
Honestly Mistwalker was the main reason I bought a 360 after already having a PS3, and the Jrpg drought still present on PS3. They better put out some more games, and please have them be better looking *cough lost odyssey*.
I definitely agree that the new maps aren't up to par with the old ones are far as graphics are concerned, though they still look alright. It's like they had a different team working on them, or they had less time to polish them up.
I don't think they're gonna let you put 'whatever you want' in PShome, although I could see the game possibly auto adjusting sliders to match your photo/features - but then again that's a completely different tech that they have in ea games and rainbowsix2.
Well Wipout HD was a pretty awesome game, so this one's going to have to do very well with the reviews to move on PSN at $20. Maybe they know something we don't about the games quality?
I really hate that too, I don't see why Sony can't just mandate every game to have One trophy for beating the game for home.
