if they're finally releasing a bunch of PSOne titles it's more likely being done to push the PSP2 when it launches later this year, than to help the PS3.
Before they drop the price on Halo 3, it seems they'll try to bundle it to scam consumers even more. To make people think it's worth more than it really is.

Poor people who bought these things, i'm sure just about every one of them will crap out, which is the typical case of a refurbished 360. It's already console that's rrod'd atleast once, obviously prone to do it again - least you can do is buy a new one.
You can bet if Sony gets the price down to under $300 on PS3 at least 1-2 million of those will be PS3s.
This guy is a right wing nut job, it's not surprising to see him type up an editorial like this. I see his articles in the opinion section of my paper all the time, every time it makes me shake my head at what an idiot the guy really is.
The sad reason they don't announce a platform because it is multiplatform, but they're hoping Microsoft will cut them a huge check for exclusivity, and cover most of their risks releasing the game. It also could go the other way, and they're hoping Sony will cause they need the disk space, and don't want to give an exclusive away for free.
The PS3 was outselling the 360 when it was only $50 more than the 360 for over 6 months, until MS dropped their price to $100 gap in price difference. Sony would possibly match 360 sales with a $50 drop, and beat them pretty badly with a $100 drop. At which point Microsoft would drop the Pro unit to $250.
If sony was developing Backward compatibility, the two God of War games would probably be some of the games they'd focus on early to make work. So even if they did have backwards compatibility with these games, it doesn't mean they've managed a way to emulate the majority of games properly.
Early review means they're very confidant with the quality of the game. Looks like we have a pretty good one here on our hands.
if someone buys a Vaio, you'd think they might become a little more favorable to the Sony brand name, and in turn purchase a PS3 over a 360 if they end up getting a gaming console?

Do you really need the charging station on the PS3? you can just use the cable that comes with the PS3, that's what i do.
And also if you have 4 people and you get an xbox; they all gotta use the same account if they wanna go online, since he's only paying for one person - that kind of sucks they all have to share achievements and an avatar.

Your 'source' is almost a year old, and it's obviously going to be unfair to the PS3 if you go by overall sales, because the 360 has been on the market a full year longer, and those first year owners have been able to build their collections higher. You take off the first year owners of the 360 the numbers are almost identical. If you go by game sales of individual games it's a much more accurate picture of the CURRENT situation, sure those games were cherry picked...
The attach rate are probably about the same, the difference is MS's number of consoles sold is largely inflated because people simply don't return the 360 when it breaks down (RROD) and instead, buy a new arcade unit. MAG does have potential to steal from the massive Call of Duty Fanbase, that's mostly on 360.
