I was actually thinking the same thing. MS needs all the exclusives they can get next gen, it makes sense for them to alter their contract.
If you watch the making of videos it says something about how it took them 3 weeks to make the plane intro part, It's just too costly time wise for them to do dynamic levels I assume they originally planned to do every level that way, but cut back after they did the plane, they did the train just because a lot of people requested that. Killzone 3 had a similar problem with the operations mode that a lot of people liked.
I just want to ask if the MP is terrible, how come and what is better in your opinion? I just want to know, because I think the multiplayer is excellent.
I think DLC should be to extend multiplayer experiences it makes little sense to extend singleplayer games when it's only taking away from work that would be done on their next game.
I don't think they'd like to have a 'B' team doing uncharted storyline.
I would like to see more maps included with the game however I know work is not free. Uncharted 3 doesn't have a massive multiplayer following yet, so it's hard for Sony to justify having them making a ton of maps and giving them out for free. I really don't see why they didn't just bundle all the original maps from uncharted 2 - I don't think any of them need to be 'touched up.' funny not one guy on the site thinks U3 is big enough of a deal to buy Uncharted 3? Kind of tells you their thoughts prior to even starting the game - it never had much of a chance.
Owning both games, if it were me reviewing: it would be Gears with the 8.0 and UC3 with the 9.5. I have to agree with Papertiger, Gears 3 is far more boring than Uncharted 3 to me - I know i'm not the only one out there that thinks the dialogue in Gears is actually painful to sit through.
I'd assume they have a next-gen version to come out as well a la twilight princess - possibly a good reason we haven't seen footage of the game yet, because they'd want to show off the better version.

All I see is a bunch of people that want to successfully deflect the blame onto Nvidia - acting as if MS has no responsibility. All we ever hear is MS's side of the story. Too bad they didn't want to take losses... they don't have to sell at a loss you know. It's not unreasonable to think they will drop the 360, as the new platform needs traction and mass migration. Not unreasonable to think Sony will ditch PS3 as well, to compete against aggress...
I wish MAG wasn't forgotten, it was in my mind the best military shooter this gen. I'm predicting the sequel of MAG will hit on PS4 and will be able to really gain traction there.
I agree Resistance 3 was a very solid game it's a shame it got overshadowed this year and people didn't have the money to buy it.

It doesn't, It seems they designed the game for two moves, (not one Nav controller + one move) It's ok but on rails really kills it. Really makes me think they should have put analog sticks on the moves instead of buttons.

Well, story and sound is very subjective, but graphics??? Uncharted 3 is quite a step up from batman AC. I do have both games.

Because of how society works? I'm not really connecting the dots here. We wouldn't have computers or other luxuries if society didn't greatly favor 1%? I don't believe that's true.
What good does it do to the world to have the interests and opinions of 1% of the population speaking to educate/influence the other 99%?
You have to wonder how much influence certain companies have on 'the advisory board' that makes the decisions for this thing. That's why it's hard for me to see their GOTY award having more weight than other GOTY awards.
This site kind of lost it's credibility awhile ago with the Gillette/Sony promotion scandal that went down. Where a higher up in the company told the writers at the site to not publish negative articles for a few days on games involved in the add campaign promotion. Yes it's 'light' but it is still manipulation. I used to visit this site a lot.

Pretty sure MS will announce their console in early 2012, what else do they have to get gamers excited for? Halo 4 will be on both 360/720. The witcher 2 keeps getting delayed - for sure it's a 720 launch title.
