Agreed, Witcher 3 felt like a real place, I have never been as immersed before in a game.
Dreams come true sometimes.
I enjoyed it while I was playing it, but I have more fond memories of past games in the series for their powerful impact on me from the perspective of a story. MGSV had great gameplay, but feels bland when I think back on it.
chiefJohn117: You get that we don't pay 60 dollars per game right, even if physical? There are SALES of physical games too, I mean, this is a thing you are aware of, I hope?
The difference is that we own the games and can play them whenever.
I will stick with Sony, they have proven time and time again how to make a great platform, focusing on games first and foremost. Nintendo is still (like Sega) close to my heart, but Sony is the one that delivers without question. I often get other consoles during a generation too, but Playstation is always the MAIN console in my home that I will get on day one.
I'm starting to Think that this is a big PR push from Microsoft.
She should have been fired for what she said about TB imo, so this is all good to me.
FGHFGHFGH: Yes, I understand that but why is it so important for Microsoft to have crossplay with Sony's platform specifically. They are free to have crossplay with PC and other open platforms, just like Sony. The answer is obvious, Sony has a big platform with a lot of users, and Microsoft want access to that. Still, Sony and Microsoft are direct competitors, why should Sony feel required to do this if they Think it is not in their best interest.
Yup, and as soon as MS gets the chance, they will try and implement that vision, thats why I´m all Sony, Nintendo and PC from now on.
Yeah, this feels like a shallow attemt from Microsoft to throw mudd at Sony, but the funny thing is that the most vocal people on this topic are Xbox fans. This is not as big of an issue as some people makes it out to be.
I just hope the gameplay is fun, and if MGS5 is anything to go by Kojima clearly knows how to craft fun game loops.
Cool!

If you want to become a game designer, apply to a school that can offer internships. It's extremely hard to brake into the industry if you can't get a foot in early - but to be honest, I would not recommend anyone to try and become a game developer. It's a niché market and if you can't find a job in it, your education is of little worth.
An old woman was walking down the road when she saw a gang of thugs beating a poisonous snake. She rescued the snake and carried it back to her home, where she nursed it back to health. They became friends and lived together for many months. One day they were going into town, and the old woman picked him up and the snake bit her. Repeatedly. "O God," she screamed, "I am dying! Why? I was your friend. I saved your life! I trusted you! Why did you bite me?"
-"Please Sony, please! We want you to do crossplay!"
Personally, I don't care either way, it's up to Sony to do or don't, but for the sake of PR, maybe they should.
Control was also a surprice, but yeah, not exactly Sony's strongest E3, I also think they want to release some of what is in the pipeline before they announce new stuff. Lets face it, they have lots of stuff in the pipeline so holding back a little could be a good thing for next years E3. I still think they had the strongest games with the best demonstrations of said games, Microsoft did good too though. Nintendo didn't show as much of interest (for me) witch was a bummer.
Great point, they showed a lot of multiplats.
Bioware was my go to Company for deep storydriven roleplaying games, this looks like the opposite of that. The World looks cool, but very shallow and multiplayer centric with minimal story. It's a pass for me most likely.
If we are to belive MS, then yes... turns out it's just THEIR single player games that seem to end up dead.
It's easy to get better when you start out as bad as Microsoft did with the xbox one this generation.
