Good, indies need help getting on as many platforms as possible, this will help them grow and that can only be positive for the gaming industry.
Its almost as if he doesnt realise that the game failed for being too generic in an alrealdy oversaturated market of fps's.
you have'nt played the game and can't see what's so bad about the game... makes sense...
Lol, that went over some peoples heads.
Replace Kaz with Phil Spencer and that sentance makes a lot of sense.
I actually agree, the art design is not what I imagined it would look like back in the day. Colorful by all means, but not that cutesy chibi style artwork. The original artwork looks so much better then that. Just go back and look at the art on the original box, it has so much atmosphere, the dark and huge nature that climbs over the main characters, and the elegant red birds flying over the still ocean floor. Why can't they capture that.
I'm starting to like this new leadership in Nintendo with Tatsumi Kimishima in charge. Keep up the good job Nintendo, you're doing great!
Dude, just get the switch now and when a revision comes out, you sell your old one. The value is in having the games and being able to play them, the hardware is just a vehicle.
Yeah, Xbox would benefit from this but why would Sony want to help out a direct competitor, their servers are well populated. It's sucks for Xbox fans with their empty servers but that is not for Sony to solve.
AKR: The usual (digital sales) excuse we heard a thousand times before from Xbox fans. It's not really likely it sold 22% digital, but even if it did it's still a downward trend for the series.
Even the 3DS is outselling Xbox One the last couple of weeks, the humiliation is complete.
If you cant see the trend on Xbox you are blind. Sales are down on software and sales are down on hardware, this trend is not boding well for Microsoft.
I did the same, I was open to buying an XboxOne during the first years but I wanted to see the direction of the console. Well, here we are with muliplayer centric, games as a service, microtransactions galore, and I feel great with my choice of not buying the product.
the cars in Forza 7 look like they are made out of plastic, GTS look much better overall.
This game had my most memorable multiplayer sessions on the N64, slit-screen 4P was a blast. The campaign was also ahead of it's time for a first person shooter in a lot of ways.
Yeah, publishers/developers can be sneaky that way.
I feel that reviewers and game jurnalism in general is failing the consumers when they let these things slide. Microtransactions devalue the game and for a lot of people it's hard to ignore them, either getting hocked (gambling and addiction is NOT a positive) or some will just downright stop playing the game. I hate that gaming is taking this turn, when I spend $60 for a game I don't want microtransactions shoved in my face.
Forza is loosing steam imo, they are still good but I have played most of them and I am left wondering what makes them score so well with reviewers. They feel so similar from entry to entry, and fans have even started noticing downgrades from entry to entry when it comes to environment details etc. From what I have seen, GTS looks more impressive in terms of graphics (cars and environments look better) and also more polished, having simulated pitstops etc but who knows if it will review well,...
Nice!
