The POWWA OF THAA CLAAWD!
They probably had to cut down on graphics to make it run on the base hardware, I doubt it runs with help from the cloud. The objects that fly off from the shots are big blocks, probably to make it easier on the processor. Could be fun though.
Congrats to Sony, singel player story driven games havet proven their strenght and value next to multiplayer games.
Witcher 3 for me, but I have a soft spot for deep lore and fantasy so it's really fair.
Im sure they will settle and the guy will be compensated. It would be a nice gesture from cd project red if nothing else, it's his life work afger all and they have benefited greatly from it.
Yeah, some of these articles really boggle my mind, are they living in the up side down world or something?
Remember when Microsoft locked Youtube etc behind a paywall? Yeah, Microsoft is the underdog now so they will make some efforts, but as soon as they are doing good they start their anti-consumer BS. Sony is on top NOW and still is the more consumer friendly of the two. Keep it up Sony.
Lmfao!
Competition is good for the industry, but Microsoft is not. They are more like a plague on the industry, starting out this generation with trying to implement anti-consumer practises and taking away ownership from the costumer. They have done similar things in the computer industry. No thanks, I would rather have competition between Nintendo and Sony and let Microsoft's void be filled with someone else.
No, we just don't like 14 year old's screaming in the mic ;)
This is going to be good, my most wanted game right now.
It's a big improvement from the last time I saw it, they have nailed the look of the world and characters.
ziggurcat: Ok, so who is hurt by me downloading Ocarina of Time and playing it on my computer. I have the original game, and I have the Gamecube version. I would not spend more money buying the same game, so Nintendo will not see more money from me for that game. Emulating a game I have payed for multiple times is not stealing. Not even close to it. You can get as technical as you want, but it changes nothing in my book.
ziggurcat: Stealing suggests that we can walk in to a store and buy all of the old games from years past, and that the developers of said games are still around. That is not always the case, in fact, that is seldom the case. There is also the fact that some people own the games but due to technology advancement, we can no longer play them in a streamlined and simple way. Emulating games is a solution to those problems.
Yeah, the resolution gate is getting out of hand. There is more to graphics than simple resolution, like particle effects, lightning, animation etc. I hope the resolution fixation will die down next gen.
Thats only for Nintendo's own games too, so it doesnt solve the problem. Some of the old companies that made games back then dont exist anymore.
The guy is a backstabber, now I follow Colin's new gaming channel instead (Colin's Last Stand: Side Quest).
Third party has been a let down this generation (Witcher 3 is one of a few exceptions), keep dominating Sony.
I wonder if this was a hostile takeover of Obsidian, those guys valued their creative freedom.
