The last time a large group "drank the Kool-Aid" it made national news.

I really like the first Fable so I'm sure I'll like the second. Because, in my short experience with the game, I see it as more of what the first game should have been rather than a sequel.

However, while I wasn't impressed with visual progress of the game or the sphere based co-op based on recent a hands on play through, the series has more than enough charm to make up for its short comings.

I don't know. Something about this game has possibilities, especially if it's like Power Stone or Bushido Blade. But I fear that it will be a total mess.

Don't get me wrong, I love the Castlevania universe. But I'm getting a little tired of the 2D games because, aside from the main character, the series is just retreading old ground. I mean, when you have as many games as Castlevania has, especially in the post-SOTN era, and you cant move the series past the same bosses, level d...

Whose posting anti-MS anything or pro-Sony anything? I was giving an opinion based on my time with the demo and how I see the ultimate result of its release is going to go.

Since you seem to have an opinion of my posting history, take another look. I'm not pro or anti anything. I respond to idiotic posts and give my opinion as to why they are idiotic. It just so happens that the majority of the ones I reply to are posted by 360 Fanboys.

Fanboy huh? Last time I checked, having an opinion wasn't indicative of being a Fanboy.

Also, check the profile and notice the oh so apparent 360 Gamertag I have!

My predictions for the game:

average reviews = 75-83% range

Great sales (over 500,000) due mostly to lack of releases, the achievement whor*s, and those who will trick themselves that the game is fun.

I mean, we as gamers are guilty of this last one.

As for Too Human, I gave the demo the benefit of the doubt and thought, "well SK has an impressive track record, so the final product might be good." But going back to play Eternal Da...

Hey now, violence and HIV Bats are not necessary.

I'm sure she'd go away if you show her a picture of a treadmill, a skinny girl, or offer her a turkey stuffed with cake.

Or ham. Man, when I was fat I loooved ham.

@above,

true, but to be fair, princesses today are more of a rarity, more visible in public life and, yes, slaves to current trends of beauty.

But the premise of the game looks to be the more "historical" interpretation of royalty.

Is she a feminist or part of the "Fat is Fine" lobbying group?

I mean, it seems she's more "outraged"--hey, false outrage is still "outrage"--at the "Fat" part of Fat Princess. I mean, there are a ton of games that objectify women as well as empower them. But if that's the case, that she's apart of the Fat lobby, then F*** her.

Being fat, outside of the rare genetic condition, is a choice. The type of food you eat and your leve...

The funny thing is that, historically, princesses WERE fat. As were a majority of royals. Any sort of research into the lifestyles of European royalty of the fifteenth thru nineteenth centuries reveal as much.

All I have to say to Kojima is,

"Build the games and I will be a loyal devotee to your genius."

Im sorry Lightning, but your attempt to downplay Heavy Rain fails.

You say "It's seems to have disapeared off the face of the planet, and it's the most hyped game nobody's ever even seen a concept art or screen shot of. There has to be something special about this."

Yet, there was a private screening for journalists at E3. It says so in the article and reports of the game have been floating around the internet since E3.

Unlike "Alan Wake,...

I don't live in Europe anymore, but I detest David Reeves and how he's handling the PS brand in the PAL regions. He doesn't seem to care about the products, its services or the fiercely loyal PS consumers. All of his interviews indicate this and, if Sony wants to stay competitive in the region he needs to go.

On topic, I'll keep it short:

40GB = $199 (fire-sale until gone)

@boom

I know it's still an issue. A 360 I bought for my little bro (fire sale ahoy) got it. But I tried to be fair and pinpoint the time period of highest failures, thereby cutting down on the fanboy whining of "but..but..they fixed it!" and them mumbling things about "Falcon" or "Jasper" or whatever MS wants to call their new hardware revisions.

I wonder if its the same Kraken fight that was in TR: Legends? From the description, it sounds very similar. Only the path getting there is somewhat different.

Regardless, I hope the game turns out good and that it stays, as the name implies, in the "tomb" or in similar environments. No more "going to the city" or whatever other gimmick CrysDy decides the series needs.

firmware disaster huh?

You mean the whole week where the firmware wasn't available because it was pulled the first day and immediately after people started having problems?

Or the fact that people built it up as a mythical thing and were disappointed when it only delivered on 99% of what it promised?

For true problems, refer to: The Red Ring Fiasco 2006-2007 or The Great LIVE Death of Winter 2007.

I loved MGS 2 when it was released. Moreover, I thought Raiden was an interesting choice and never questioned Kojima's choice of a main character.

I admit that the story was a bit difficult to follow at first, at least compared to MGS 1. But playing it a second and third time, I came to love the subtle yet powerful revelations as the story progressed. The ending especially threw me off guard even in the second and third play through.

Having played MGS 4 day one of re...

It's not about comparing consoles per se. It's about showing how idiotic comments like "so-and-so game on the 360 (usually Halo and Gears) will do away with Sony" have no merit when faced with truth that, despite these popular games, Sony's console isn't going anywhere.

Also, I have no doubt that the US economy is playing a role in stagnant console sales in the US, however, to ignore the fact that Sony's progress in spite of this, including a near 2:1 margin over the 36...
