I posted this in another thread, but it should be repeated.
"Developers have a way of lying by omission. When talking about suspected exclusives, it's always better to focus on what they don't say.
But there is another way:
If it has an "Only on Xbox 360" or "Only on Playstation" logo on the box, then it's a 100% full exclusive.
If it doesn't then 99% of the time it's not a full exclusive. At the most it's a timed ex...
^^^
I'm looking at both boxes right now and neither say "Only on Xbox 360".
The only thing I can think of is they re-did the boxes for later shipments and removed it. I did buy Bioshock about a month after its release..
As for Eternal Sonata, it shouldn't have had it on the box (assuming your copy has it). The day it was released on the 360 in NA, Namco Bandai announced a Spring 2008 release for the PS3. So that would have been a blatant case of false...
@FantasyStar
Are you new here?
That logic HAS been applied to Killzone 2 since actual gameplay footage was revealed last year at E3.
That is where I got it from.
I don't know what is so hard to understand:
If it has an "Only on Xbox 360" or "Only on Playstation" logo on the box, then it's a 100% full exclusive.
If it doesn't then 99% of the time it's not a full exclusive. At the most it's a timed exclusive. Otherwise it's a multiplatform release.
Yes cause the first one, which had over a year of exclusivity, was a shining beacon of what the 360 is capable of. /sarcasm
I'm gonna apply bot logic here--the first one was mediocre therefore the second one will be too.
I could get behind putting games on a memory stick, but I wouldn't want to pay extra for games or movies using mini-blu rays.
Except you wouldn't have to rely solely on wifi. It would be option just like it is now.
Having a store interface like iTunes means you can download a game via wifi OR wired connection and, through a USB, transfer the game to the PSP.
Hell, IF you're intent on using wifi, or if you don't have decent wired speeds, you could even use a public wifi hub if you want. I downloaded tons of songs to my iPod wirelessly or movies to my laptop using my colleges high-speed wirel...
I think DD could work for the PSP2 under two conditions:
1. You have an internal memory in the 10s of GB--including the option to buy additional memory sticks should you need it.
2. Create a PSN store interface with the ease and accessibility similar to iTunes--You can dl from the computer and connect the PSP2 to transfer your games. But also have the in-device PSN store, like it has now, that you can download directly from the PSP2.
Hell, I'd even say ...
What I've learned this gen is that anything can happen.
Although I believe this to be another unfounded rumor, I will not be surprised IF it comes true.
It IS the third in the series:
1. Killzone
2. Killzone: Liberation (PSP)
3. Killzone 2
So you're going to base Killzone's impact on the PS3 by 2 full days worth of sales?
Just because the NPD releases around the 12th of every month, doesn't mean that sales are counted up to then.
I live in Texas, and I've seen the Killzone 2 ad on Spike, G4, Comedy Central, Cartoon Network (during Adult Swim), Fox, and NBC.
In the last week, in fact, I've seen the "bullet" ad 11 times.
I'm not talking about anything other than this specific incident and the fact that people STILL believe the video is real even after it was revealed as a hoax.
You'd have to be an idiot to think malice doesn't exist when talking about the government. But these people take their paranoia past any reasonable definition of a weary observer.
The people who still believe that this is proof the "government is spying on you through your DTV receiver", even after the original video maker revealed it was a hoax, need to go to the hospital right now and get chemically castrated or have their uterus's removed.
Letting these people reproduce is a crime against all mankind.
It's exclusive. As is the other episode that will be released.
But some Eidos employees admitted that these were levels in the game that were removed explicitly for DLC.
@aspergers
They changed the text. What the OP and what The Hater posted was what the original text was.
If you go to the US Amazon site, one of the MB posts talks about "bad killzone 2 reviews." The first poster copied and pasted the Absolute Games review as:
"Absolute Games....70/100...7/10...
Zero - that's how many fresh ideas Killzone 2 brings to the table. Had it been released alongside Soldier of Fortune or Medal of Honor: Allied A...
I typically don't mind installs--who has the time to wait the 15 secs between matches of SF IV. I want the 9 seconds offered by a 10 minute install, darn it. /sarcasm
However, I do mind that certain companies can't seem to (or don't want to) work on moving them away from being mandatory.
Don't get me wrong, I understand that some companies need that leeway for their first PS3 releases--Volition and Saints Row 2 come to mind. But it's 2 years into the PS3's life cycle...
Also, those positions have been posted since October 2008.
SF IV is pretty much what I expected--it had the characters, stages, moves and features (online and offline) shown in months of videos, screen shots and general info.
My only problems with the game are:
1. The Story--SF IV seems to be a direct sequel to SF II, retconning SF III in the process (although Yun and Yang make a cameo in Chun-Li's opening). Many of the character arcs expand on and tie up story lines that ran through Street Fighters Alpha to II Turbo. <...
The fact there is any confusion in the first place is because some backroom deal is being worked out--probably for MS to get the game as a timed exclusive. Capcom is just waiting to announce it, probably at GDC.
Look at how other companies, like EA or Ubisoft, handle their multiplat information. They announce all platforms at the same time. There is no "confusion."
