True, but Sony didn't remove the standard PSPs from the tablets at that time. It was basically the same console, only one without the slot for disks. They were just offering the choice.
Same for Nintendo. They released the DSi, all digital-ready, but without the GBA slot, but they kept producing standard DS too, again offering a choice for consumers.
Now if the Xbox one came in two models, one without all their Cloud and Online stuff and no Kinect, and on...
Please, no, please, stahp! 0_0
Dragon's Crown guys. Dragon's Crown. Also, get a ps+ subsciption. This month I got Gods Eater Burst, Gravity Rush, Uncharten Golden Abyss AND Virtues Last Reward for free!
MOAAAAAAAAR.
(I'm out of things to say about this game. Can't wait, looks great, business as usual.)
Oh please. Too lazy to switch disks? I honestly believe this can only be good for you that you'll have to.
I hope one day people realize that the price of games never really got higher in the last 15 years of so of video games.
Given we all make more money than back then, they're always ever getting cheaper...
... What's strange is that a console does not need to be always on for that. Their cloud isn't hosted withing YOUR internet connection. All you need is AN internet connection to access it. Your console could very well be buried 6 feet underground, smashed to pieces, you would still be able to access all the info you put in the cloud.
As I see it, they're just removing some good features because they won't admit defeat without trying one last blow. That's l...
New IPs, Veteran series, who cares?
I don't mind playing Dragon Quest for the nth time, even if it has the exact same mechanics. Same goes for Shin Megami Tensei, SoulCalibur or whatever.
Do a game, do it well, and it will sell.
Sure, new IPs can deliver some really greats surprises (Catherine, The World Ends With You, Vanquish and many more), but a well known series that can stick to it's roots is as good a value as anything else.
I understand that digital release cost less than physical ones, but they lack the charm of having a booklet (One of the best toilet readings), and the charm of having them all nicely sorted on a shelf.
If I have the choice, I'll always go for the physical version of a game.
How can you tell that with only half a jaw line visible?
But the real question is: What the hell is Ezio Auditore doing in that game?

Aaaaah. Never played that.
1.: Fallout
2.: I don't know
3.: Enslaved
4.: Chrono trigger
5.: Nier

Do I win something?
Battles seem to be much better this time than in Ayesha.
I may be alone here, but I'll get it for sure. :)
Oh, and I did enjoy Ayesha a whole lot, but I felt the battle system was a bit lacking.
Yeah let's talk about games.
For me, Sony's exclusives have always been much more interesting than Microsoft's.
Ni No Kuni, Dragon's Crown, Odin Sphere, Persona 3-4, LittleBigPlanet, Modnation, Atelier, Valkyria Chronicles, Disgaea, The Last of Us... Xbox has none of those. And that's without counting the games I got with ps+. Just this month: Uncharted 3, Saints Row 3, LittleBig Karting, Machinarium, Xcom, Gods Eater Burst, Virtue's L...
I just can't wait.
I love that they show how much of any ranked items you got in every playthrough of each stage at the end of it. For me, that means they really put some thoughts in replay value. :)
I must admit that the story in XIII-2 ended up being way too convoluted for my tastes. I wonder how they'll conclude it in XIII-3, if that's even possible.
That said, I myself really enjoyed both XIII and XIII-2. They both had their flaws (Linearity for XIII and nonsensical plot for XIII-2) but they both had nice qualities too. Combat was fun in both games, visuals were beautiful, and both games had some post-game fights that were hard enough to offer a good challenge...
I'm really tempted to get both versions. Would be better if it was cross-buy, but the ability to transfer my characters from my ps3 to my vita might prove nice...
But I'll see how much I wanna invest in the ps3 version before pre-ordering the Vita one.
Another positive Hands On impression!
YEAH!
I'm happy. :D
(That's directed at your reply to my reply):
But...but, you can already do all that! I don't know for you, but my TV remote has a button to switch displays between my console, the TV, and my sound system. And more, I can watch two shows at the same time on my standard HD cable subscription. One channel displayed in a tinier frame in the corner. And wait, that's not all! I can also surf on facebook and all that straight from my TV interface. I have access to 50+ mu...
