Yep day one here too, already placed my preorder! :)
Where are FFIX's Steiner and Beatrix?
The more I see, the more I know that preordering this was one of the best idea I had in the last weeks. :)
August can't come soon enough!
Radiata Story, this game was awesome. Too bad it flew under the radar.
Plenty of classic RPGs need to be made still.
Some series went missing in action and it's a shame, like Valkyrie Profile (When are we gonna get Valkyrie Profile 3: Hrist? Come on Tri-Ace!), Breath of Fire, Lufia.
I'd enjoy a new Star Ocean too, and of course, Persona 5 can't come soon enough (That one is in production, that much we know, so it's a good thing).
I'd enjoy some new SMT spin offs too, like Digital Devil.
Most of these games look okay all around.
They have a dire lack of style tho.
Put some thoughts into style and games will look good even on ages old consoles. Thinking of high-end visual design games like Katamari Damacy, Okami, Borderlands, Little Big Planet, Mad World and even older games like Earthbound, Yoshi's Island or Secret of Mana.
What matters is not how many polygons you can cram into the screen at the same time, it's what...
Glad I got this pre-ordered! Can't wait. :)
I was probably busy playing something else, like Little Big Planet or Star Ocean, or ModNation, but probably Disgaea 3.
See, Bayonetta isn't really my kind of game, but I'm not really into shooters either.
Even great games that were also on Nintendo consoles get dumb scores on that website. Like Okami, DS' Dragon Quest games (71% for sentinels? What the hell!), 67% for Radiant Historia, 65% for the world ends with you?
Really, it's not a matter of console fanboyism, it's a matter of poor gaming press. If press can even be used for such a website.
I think I would have quit the game at that Spider Colossus fight. Brrrrrrr
Seriously, what kind of website is that?
Okami gets a 60% score, with a 56% on graphics? WAIT WHAT?
They also lowered Final Fantasy XIII and XIII-2 graphics score because it looks "realistic"?
Are they stupid, or trolling?
I can understand this is a religious website and all, but that's giving a pretty bad idea of religion to the world.
Seriously, guys, don't give them clicks.
They didn't "Make him gay". He could still date females.
If you really wonder about what final sexual orientation Shepard has, I would rather say it's bisexual to some extent.
As for the last part of trilogy, maybe it's just that there was no man before ME3 that really caught his attention. (I would have gone with Joker, but that's just me...)
I think it's good that homosexuality is not so hidden in video games anymore.
I like having the choice, but I don't mind when the main character is heterosexual by story cannons.
I can name a few games that had straight main characters but still displayed homosexuals without making an event out of it. Persona series, Shadow hearts (Yeah, shadow hearts went for a comical approach, but I didn't find it offensive, it kind of went well with the grand...
If god was not cool with homosexuality, he would have found a way to punish us looooong ago. As it is now, we're not suffering from plague, or having our house infested by the locust or whatever.
I honestly think your god does not give a shit about who wants to have sex with who.
And more importantly, your god has no rights and no power over those that never sworn by his church. Just remember that.
I like how the author used a Star Ocean images in his article.
While not ground breaking, that series writing always found a way to break the cliches in some ways. I'm thinking about Star Ocean 3 mainly. First it starts as a generic "good guys save the world" story, but it really ends up being self aware, breaking the fourth wall and putting a lot of humor at the front of the writing in the later parts of the game, with characters well aware of their status as b...
This looks amazing.
A kind of mix between Minecraft, 3d dot game heroes, and more? Count me in!
Windows squeeged?
That sounds urban to me. SO, there is a car in Versus' trailer (If that means anything), but more importantly, one game they made that had a major importance with urban settings is The World Ends With You.
TWEWY 2 would be awesome.
Am I the only one here who really enjoyed Dawn of Mana?
Loved everything from it. The score based stages, the monster arena, the music, the visuals.
Sure it didn't feel like Secret of Mana or Legend of Mana, but I never agreed with reviewers that game it such bad scores.
XIII wasn't that bad really. Once the world opened up, it kicked into full gear and was a whole lot of fun. The problem is the time it took for the game to reach that point. I know many persons who lost interest before that.
Guess I'll be getting this for free too, with the artbook :)
