Star Ocean and Valkyrie Profile.
Those are, in my humble opinion, (square)-Enix's best releases. All credits go to Tri-Ace still. Those guys are great devs. Too bad their talent is being put in the XIII series. While it's not a bad series, I'm pretty much certain that the guys at Tri-Ace would rather be working on VP and SO than FF. It's been way too long since I had to fight a new version of Ethereal Queen, and they still need to conclude the main VP trilogy....
Sometimes I feel bad for not having played any of the Witchers games. :/ I heard they were pretty good.
Where can I renew my RPG-gamer card?
Doesn't mean much for games as a whole, really.
Zynga and Blizzard are far from being the "be all end all" of videogames.
Also, I believe there might be a point in a casual gamer's life when he/she really did all there was to do in farmville...
Good article.
But all this talk about technical jargon means nothing without games.
Who cares how much RAM it has?
Some of the best games don't even need half that horsepower. Would A Link to the Past have been any better with more RAM? Nope. Because at that time, devs cared about concept and execution before graphics and inbred technical "Mine's bigger than yours".
Give me a good game with a good design an...

Wait what?
last... Surprise?
Am I the only one who thought that it was pretty obvious, as soon as Snow was seen, that the whole ensemble cast from XIII would be in 13-3?
And exactly no one was surprised that day.
Please Square, stahp! with these timed revelations. The tension is too high, the mystery too thick. I don't think we can handle any more of this.
What's next, Lumina -IS- SERAH? WHO WOULD'VE KNOWN!
(I'm not hating on 13-3, looks like a pretty decent game, but Square's marketing department seems really dumb from time to time...)
Obviously you're not part of the demographic targeted by Dragon's Crown.
BUT, many people, me included, enjoy over-sexualization. It may be "perverted" or "immature" to you, but for some other persons (that's me), it's fun as hell.
I love the character design for the sorceress as much as I love Russ Meyer's movies, vintage erotica and burlesque shows.
And such art style pleases people like me. And if ...
That's a bad timing, not enough hype was built around FEZ 2 for it's cancellation to have any impact...
Seriously, who cares that FEZ 2 is cancelled? Did Fish even release one screenshot of that hypothetical sequel to FEZ 1?
That comes off as highly immature.
Drama queens much? Both of them.
Well for starters, it had 3 different vehicles, a story mode, upgrades in weaponry, twisting loops in the tracks, a playable world hub, and a star wars wannabe moon level with lasers.
Was there lasers in Mario Kart? Nope. No lasers in Mario Kart!
Body Harvest was awesome!
When an 8 entries best of list includes 4 games from the same franchise, it makes it look like the 64's library was a total wasteland.
And seriously, who in their right mind would put a Mario Kart game there and forget about Diddy Kong Racing, which was in every single way vastly superior to it's Mario and co. cousin?
To say Microsoft nearly killed gaming is giving waaaaayyyyy too much credit to Microsoft in the first place. Gaming would still exist even if Microsoft went all the way with their stupid policies.
How nice it would be that studios knew when to quit.
Actually, it may be a bit ridicule, but that's the point.
I love how they really went overboard with that character's sex appeal. We've all see THAT picture, where she holds a skeleton against her breast and holds her staff between her legs. This is all intentional. I don't think they ever wanted this game to target prudes and easily offended people. This game has sex, and I salute how they went on with it.
And like someone said, it is not se...
I did a quick scroll through that guide, and LORD GEEBUZ! this game is so deep! The guide only covers normal mode for now, and there's already a whole lot of content!
Every single bit of info I come across makes august 6 seem sooo far away, and yet so close. I really can't wait...
Yep, and I already paid my copy! I hope VanillaWare and Atlus both make a sweet profit with this game, so they can continue doind what they do so well! :)
I don't know if it's "THE JRPG TO RULE THEM ALL" , but I do know this is one JRPG I'll have a whole lot of fun playing on release date.
What would be lost? Well, sex? For me, that would be losing a bit of that game's appeal.
Also no, you're not in the targeted demographic when talking about the art style. Because clearly it targets people that understand the fun and beauty in such sexualization, and you don't seem to be part of that.
"And please how is that "fun as hell"? They're not features that enhance the gameplay but only draw your attention to what is obv...
