God I hate apple. They think they are competing with Sony and Nintendo and they aren't. Lets get one thing straight here Apple. NO ONE buys a Iphone or Ipod Touch or whatever for gaming. They buy it for either needing a Phone or as a music device and then they just happen to download and play a few things because they are there and cheap.

I think it has a chance. They need to market it right. While it's game play is somewhat unique it's nothing super special but what has me interested is the cheesy humor. The game play demo's they showed at Gamescom and E3 had me laughing a few times just from the one liners.
Being a fan of Steve Blum(who plays the main character) I will be picking up a copy just to hear him in the game.

While Bioware and Bethesda made great games it's kinda hard to say they are advancing anything.

Fist off the game did well both in sales and reviews. The sales part took awhile to take off. In the US it was a slow burn and it slowly sold over the course of about a year to a year and a half and in Japan it didn't really sell well until the anime based on the series came out and Sega Re released the game.

Looking at the character models in particular Enslaved is very weak when compared to HS. They seem much more Flat and dull when compared to the full of emotion and life of the HS character models.

The voice acting for female Shepard was the main reason I played the game as a female it's just SO much better then male.

The main reason I started playing that way was because Female has WAY better voice acting them male and it made me switch from male after the first few hours of the first game but sense then I have just found it more interesting to play as a female character anyway.

It's called server congestion people. Seriously. Have you been on and seen how many people are playing the Open beta? It's a metric crap ton of people.
SE is also releasing a patch for the game every day the Beta is out(balancing various things I'm sure) and as such all those crap tons of people need to download the update and it causes congestion.

I honestly don't see why so many people are freaking out. The only real bad thing I have experienced in the game is the patching process is insanely slow and that could just be the congestion and even if that is the case there is a easy way around as sites like FFXIV core have the updates there to download via something like a torrent or Megaupload and then you manually patch the game which takes all of 5 minutes and is very simple.

Sakaguchi may be remembered and referred to as the Father of Final Fantasy but he did not single handedly name or create the series.
