Yeah I still have both my PS copies as well(I think I have 2 copies of PE 2 for some reason)
I would love to see the series be on the PS3 just to see the series grow in scope. It's just fact that they could do so much more on PS3. Despite my thoughts about the game I will still be picking it up day one when it comes out because as I said the game could be more true to the series then the trailer makes it seem.

That trailer looks awesome but it does give me a few worries about the game ever getting a US release and a Uncut one if it does.
There are implied Sex scenes in that trailer that almost go to far for a game and if it does go that far in the final game(this is a trailer after all) there is no way it's getting a Uncut release outside of Japan or maybe not get a release at all.

Based on what we know and stuff like the trailers it seems story won't be a issue if you want to try 3rd Birthday as the game seems to have nothing to do with the first 2 games in the series story wise.
While there is a chance it has some link based on what we have seen it seems to have nothing to do with PE 1 and 2.
I would love to see this happen but I would also love to see the game go back to it's roots.

Anyway. While a few people probably approved this solely based on that pic in the thumbnail the fact is that this game is gonna be high on peoples interested because it's being made by Atlus and is the first game this gen by the Persona team. That alone would get it approved regardless of the content of the screens.
Atlus has already stated that this game was more or less done to practice and see what could and could not be done on the next gen consoles.
Pretty much it's them getting ready for Persona 5. Personally I think it's a great idea. Why not make a spin off before the next main game so they can make sure Persona 5 is the masterpiece it should be.

That looks WAY better then I thought it would. I was basically expecting a higher res version of the engine from Persona 3 and 4. But this looks incredible. While it isn't on a technical level a amazing engine or anything it looks to perfectly compliment the art style which helps it look so good.

The co-op could now have it's own location(St' Louis) While the single player has it's own location(New York) and doing that would allow for different characters and stories between the 2 modes instead of being random soldiers doing random missions in Co-op.

That trailer made me really wanna play the game but it also made me wanna see a live action movie made.
For what was probably a somewhat cheap and quick trailer it looks incredible and I would love to see what they could do with the setting and world of Resistance in live action with a big budget.

I would guess that would depend on what they mean by adult in the article. If it's just a real mature game like the Persona series I would assume it will be coming over here without issue. If however it goes a little further(looks at the scan posted) then it may not get a release. Or maybe a release with cuts.

Yeah that engine really needs to go. I don't understand why they are still using it. We heard not to long ago that Id Tech 5 is only gonna be used on games within Bethesda and yet they still are not using it for their next game? Why the hell not? That Engine would not only make a Elder Scrolls game look insane but it would in theory make the game feel more like a livable world thanks to the nearly limitless ability to add things into the engine.

I do think that there are some studio's(mostly Sony 1st party) that probably already have small teams working on PS4 games.
That said there is no way they are releasing the PS4 in 2012. The PS3 is just starting to hit it's stride in terms of sales and in terms of developers finally getting used to making games for it and there is NO way Sony is gonna just jump to the next gen anyway.

To be honest that Vidoc made me less excited for the game.
One of the things I liked about the Halo series was that while it was really about nothing but a Space marine you didn't get(aside from SGT Johnson) those annoying stereotypes. And from that video it seems every single character is just that. A stereotype. It's the type of tired and lazy character's we have seen in so many other games and it really just zapped my excitement for the game.

No one should trust this benchmark it's HIGHLY inaccurate. The benchmark can rank you as a 8000 and you may not be able to run the game and it can fail to rank you at all and you can run the game perfectly on high settings(this one happened to a friend of mine who got into the beta)
The best way to see how the game will run is to run the benchmark and by looks alone see if the cut scenes look right. If they have a decent frame rate and the voice lines up with the mouths....

Couldn't agree more on that. Chains of Promathia still stands as one of if not my favorite story line ever in a game. It had incredible characters and the story line itself was incredible(and back when it was hard as hell it added to it a bit by making it feel like you were part of the trials and tribulations the characters were going through)
