@Godmars290
Unlike Final Fantasy XIV which was shipped pretty much in a state that it should not have been Final Fantasy XIII had different issues.
Nothing was broken in Final Fantasy XIII. It was simply taste. People didn't like how certain things were done yet none of those things were broken in any way.
These things could be fixed with a FFXIII-2 while giving people who enjoyed the first game more of the characters and story which se...
If you only go by sites like N4G which is 90% trolls the game is garbage and there is not a single thing good about it.
If you have a brain and have played the game all the way through you will be aware that the game did indeed have it's issues(Lack of freedom, pretty bad pacing issues and a few other things here and there) But overall it was a great game. Not the best Final Fantasy but a good game nonetheless.
The way I see it had the game not been made ...
Chances of the game happening are autally very high. Kitase as well as other members of the team already expressed interest in it and because of the sales it seems like a no brainer. Kitase also expressed want to get another shot at the world to try to draw gamers in as he thinks he failed to do so with the first game(likely because of all the complaining)
Personally I would love to see it. Final Fantasy XIII certainly had it's issue but all of it was game play and pacing...
Ok first off. Don't assume things. You don't know me and don't know if I'm a casual fighting fan or not so plz stfu.
The game WAS played professionally. I don't know if it still is or not. But it WAS played professionally and the matches were aired on G4TV back with their brief stint in airing pro gaming tourneys.
As far as saying Fan boy I was not implying that about a console... I was implying that you love some other fighting franchise...
AH the sounds of a bitter fan boy.
No defense? Really. A large part of DOA is the countering and last time I checked countering is defense not offense.
DOA in my opinion is the perfect fighter. The game is super easy to get into for casual fighting players however it has alot of depth in both it's move sets and it's countering systems.
A master of the game would destroy any button masher easily(I have seen this first had) And only mas...
Either you are saying the things YOU hate are the things everyone hates or you are playing with the wrong people.
I can tell that my linkshell(Which consists of about 60 people) all love the game it's only the minor annoyances that get to them and these are the things that will be fixed.
The only system in the game I am aware that pretty much everyone across the board hates is the battle regimen system and that's because it pretty much makes no sens...
A complete overhaul is more or less what the patches are doing. They are changing the UI almost completely and changing so many other things it's almost gonna be a different game.
People buying the PS3 version will be lucky as the game will be MUCH better then.
Yeah Sony basically created Kinect when they made the Eye Toy LONG ago for PS2. The only difference is they didn't spend half a billion dollars on a ad campaign.
Seems that the populace are nothing but sheep and can't buy something unless a stupid commercial or ad tells them to.
The PC version was pretty much the Beta.
However there isn't much reason for those players to be angry about that as the game has remained free since launch as things are fixed up and the massive updates in the next few weeks(while the game is still free mind you) will fix 90% of the issues.
So no one really lost anything as if they were to play the game they would have had to buy the game itself at one point or another and seeing as there has been no mon...
I would highly disagree.
These updates fix about 90% of the issues with the game as it stands.
People who are waiting for a auction house are really starting to annoy me. They are not adding one. They are doing what they can to make the market wards work and with the upcoming search feature and other things being planned for the future there really won't be a need for one.
The main reason they will not add one is because of what RMT did...
I would agree.
While i can see what they were getting at here and how there are a few bits that are somewhat entertaining overall it's just to surreal for me.
Yeah I would agree the new site looks terrible. Way to much on screen and way to clustered. It's kinda hard to see what is what. It's not clean.
It looks like someone just threw a bunch of stuff on a table as opposed to carefully placing anything.
I liked the way it looked before.
Exactly what I was thinking.
It seems since it's so popular to hate on SE that no one stops to think that the issues Final Fantasy XIV is having are common for many new MMO's. Many for get that WoW had no real auction house at launch and neither did Everquest or Final Fantasy XI and yet those games are still going today.
The interface has been adjusted about 4 times now and each time it has gotten faster. And in the upcoming major November update th...
I don't see how they can say it's the biggest disappointment when according to the score it's just under 80 which would rank as good or great to alot of people.
I have not played it yet. But that said what I have seen of the game both story wise and game play wise looked miles better then the first Force Unleashed. I'm looking forward to playing it regardless of this so called disappointment.
@zatrox
Fan translations are all well and good(hell it's the only way you can play Fate/Stay Night in English)
But they can't really do much for PS3 or 360 visual novels. Sure there are ways you could probably rig up a way to play it on PC or on the consoles with a translation but it's a pain and not exactly easy to do.
Would much rather have real releases. I don't see why they don't approve visual novels in the US and E...
While they didn't mention browsing in the upcoming update.(Just mentioned the marker and searching)
That doesn't mean browsing can't be added. It would be really easy to add. Just have a menu you open any time to browse all the know items in the game and then if you find one search it and boom.
It's amazing how they try their best to fix something and yet people still complain.
And I really wonder if you know how bad the RMT p...
They are. They have already patched many things. They made the interface faster as well as changed the market wards a bit. And while the market system still isn't perfect the next update which is coming around November(or earlier if it's ready sooner) will implement a search function and a marker so you can search for what you want to buy and the game will mark the NPC or player selling it with a icon so you can find them in just a few seconds.
They are also redoing m...
It will be released. The next Major patch for the game will be released in November and is going to fix about 95% of the issues with the game as it currently stands.
While the market system as it stands is pretty useless. What they are doing is going to help alot to the point of almost not needing a auction house.
The time it will take a player to type the item they are looking for into the search and find the retainer(of which the game will mark for you with a icon) is probably the amount of time one would take searching through a auction house. Especially when you consider how every item in the game has a +1 +2 and +3 variant.

It's been confirmed as using a new engine? I haven't been following it very well but I had heard awhile back that it was going to use the same old crappy gamebryo engine or whatever it's called.
If it is indeed true that it's using a new engine and the new engine is a decent engine that alone would fix a good 70% or so of the issues alot of people had with oblivion like the butt fugly characters the glitchy as hell game play and the copy and paste dungeons an...
