Yeah basically what Baka said is true. Almost every game you can get on Mobile that's popular is available for free somewhere or was free first.
Head over to sites like Newgrounds.com and you can find version of the games that are popular at the moment on the app store and they are free. Really there is no reason in paying for them when you can get the same game or something very similar for free.

I personally don't like mobile gaming at all(not counting PSP or DS) Because while alot of the games are certainly entertaining they don't last at all. You play 5-10 mins and more often then not feel no need to ever go back to it. If you do that with alot of games you may find yourself spending more money then if you just bought a single game on console or a single game on PSP or DS(which you get a crap load more for the money. I think it's safe to say the extra dev time has made the game ALOT better. Not only in terms of gameplay(awesome that holding all guns is back) but graphically the game is insane. The amount of stuff happening all at once is crazy. The 2nd half of the video was really intense when they had to defend main street.

Honestly have no idea what you are talking about when you say sluggish. The menus have all been sped up to the point of being as fast as any other game out there and if you are referring to the game play itself again I have no idea what you are talking about. Assuming you have a PC capable of running the game at a good clip the game runs fine i see no sluggishness at all. And i'm on playing the game daily.

Have you played the game in the last month or so? Yoshida has made MASSIVE leaps foward in fixing the game. I was holding back on buying it until it got a bit cheaper so this is a great deal for me if I can get into the preview. I never really did get into the games Multi player when I had it from Game Fly so this would be my chance to do so.
