At this point in time for me personally it's not. That said I will be VERY tempted to buy it once Devil Survivor Overclocked comes out later this year as that was one of my favorite DS games ever and a bigger and better version of it is very very tempting even if the price is a bit high.

Wow the fact that once you beat the campaign the ENTIRE original Dissidia is unlocked basically made me just want to buy this. I missed the original and wasn't sure I wanted to jump into a new series but the fact that you basically get 2 games in one is quite the deal.

That said it's not because of some new found Tech or the updates to the Unreal Engine. It's because of better character design and MUCH better use of Color(everyone has at this point noticed they are using Color better and the game no longer looks grey and dull but at the same time still looks like a Gears game so Kudos to Epic for that)
