Wow. It seems like I'm one of the people who found Borderlands 2 to be a MUCH better game than the first one, both aesthetically and gameplay wise. I finished Borderlands 1 with my friend and I was ultimately "meh" about it.
Now I'm playing Borderlands 2 with the same friend and the game is much more challenging, open and full of content and missions! Not to mention, much more fun. And a much better port than Blands 1 was.
If it did, there wouldn't have been much gameplay going on at 10fps or lower.
How much I care for the new Spiderman movies can be evident in the fact that I only just found out the name of the actor playing Spiderman from your comment.

Well, the i7 has a bit more bang for buck today, with games being optimized for 8 cores. You obviously haven't played Battlefield 3 and 4 online. I know it's stupid making an example of only two games, but they are currently the best example of the advantages of an i7 over an i5. More so in Battlefield 3 than 4. The i7 stomps over the i5 in BF3, pushing a much higher framerate than the quad-core i5. The i5 will drop fps below 60 in most maps while the i7 pushes 80 or even more when ov...
You must be pretty ignorant, aren't you?
1. Never fell through the map since the time I started playing
2. 0% kill bug is because you didn't do 100 damage, but 99.something and it's been here since Bad Company 2, it's just a way of rounding up numbers
3. The game never EVER crashed my system, it only crashed to desktop, which is not problem exclusive to Battlefield 4. In fact, Battlefield 3 had the same issue in the beginning,...
This is getting so old. The game works fine. Get over yourself.
I'll put down some money on my HD7850 barely beating the 560Ti in Watch Dogs. It's like that in nearly every Ubisoft game. I wish I had a 780 like you. But I guess then I'd have to get an i7 as well.
That would mean the controls will be absolute and utter crap. Have you tried actually playing something in 24fps?
That's because Mantle still has no proper crossfire support, especially not for a card that's a day old.
New drivers will fix that.
10fps is about what I lose (sometimes more) in BF4 MP due to the API bottlenecking, so I guess that's why, most people who play BF4 on that forum have an i5 same as me. I swear, I'm annoying myself with the word "bottleneck" already, it's become an annoyance -.-
It's been 3 months waiting for a proper driver. Betas 14.1 - 14.3 still haven't fixed the stuttering issues I have in both Thief and BF4.
@Lone3wolf
Well, it's not like there's a CPU out there for you to upgrade to. Not yet at least. Even people with i5 CPUs are perfectly fine, me being one of them. It all comes down to API limitations, and DX11 is one big limitation. The game will probably run just fine on any hardware, probably even dual cores and i3s.
System requirements only tell half of the story anyway. You still can't beat just trying it yourself.
That's the FX8350's stock clock. And it's on par with recommended specs for other games. Watch Dogs has the same spec recommendation.
It's really just a console port, and because both consoles have 8 cores that's where the recommendation comes from. Still, optimization will definitely be better than what we had with the PS3 and 360. The PS4 and Xbone are basically PCs.
Chill. Even if CPU requirements are that ridiculously high, DX12 is com...
People on the forum I visit have, everyone got a ~10fps increase in BF4 MP.
@Tempest317
i5 3570k @ 4.2GHz
HD7850 2GB @ 1140/1350
6GB RAM
Maxed out - framerate fluctuates between 35-120fps.
They run pretty badly on PC as well. Framerate dips to low 40s - mid 30s. And it's caused by the CPU. Maybe it would have been better if they made it DX11.
2 games, poorly supported by my HD7850 (stuttering). DX11 is far more widespread.
Alright, now it hurts me that I've chosen an HD7850 over a 660.
But part of what made Syphon Filter was the fact that it was difficult to control the player. You could drive a tank after playing Syphon Filter with no issues whatsoever.
I played some two player deathmatch yesterday. The fact that it's so difficult to hit a target was part of the charm of Syphon Filter, on top of excellent single player missions.
I don't think that the Syphon Filter reboot would be a lot like Syphon Filter. It just can't. The ti...
This is the way it should be. Microsoft and Sony switched places this generation, multi-platform games on Xbox One are mostly inferior to the PS4 version, so if they follow the model of delivering excellent games for Xbox One as Sony did for PS3, they'll be fine despite the power difference. After all, it was exclusives that saved the PS3. I feel like I'm shooting myself in the foot here, being a PC gamer, as I want Gears of War and Halo to return to PC, but that is really the only wa...
Seems EA is doing the Activision thing.
The thing is, they'll always get away with it.
Ubisoft is the publisher I expect the most out of this generation. They've proven themselves so far.
