Different contrast, that's about it.
I will probably do that when the time comes, I need Windows for my piece of shit college. So far Windows is my only option.
I can see myself transferring to SteamOS in the future. Definitely. I'm just waiting for more developer support and I'm good to go.
Well, at least it's not sub-720p. That would be heartbreaking.
This is shit, not an easter egg.
No one actually cares anymore.
RDR's engine was the same engine as GTAIV's, but older I believe and Rockstar said in an interview that porting it would mean reworking the engine significantly and that it isn't a viable option for them. Think about the problems GTAIV PC faced and still has, and then think about what RDR would have been being even older than that in the technical department.
Enough with the freaking rumors already. When Rockstar officially announces the release date, THEN publish it. Speculation is pointless.
I have no idea what game this is.
Step 1: Be good.
Step 2: Think.
Well, to be fair, at least it's a software problem and it's not smoking or leaking capacitor fluid.
Although neither console is safe from hardware failure. Happened before and it will happen for as long as hardware exists with PCs, consoles, cell phones, you name it.
Design flaws, however, are unacceptable. Isolated failures happen, design flaws plague every model, as it has with the first PS3s and 360s.
Not for that GPU it isn't. No need to overclock.
The thing is, multiplayer games always prefer processors with more cores and good architecture.
For instance, the BF3 benchmark in this is negligible because it's singleplayer which isn't CPU intensive at all.
In multiplayer, even at 4GHz, an i7 2600k with HT would stomp the i5 2500k you have. But then again it all depends on what GPU you have as well. If you have something like a GTX 560 then you won't see a difference between the two processors at all si...
How old is Team Fortress 2?
I'm getting that bad port vibe off this.
i7 recommended for a last-gen game and now this?
@LostCause
AC4 is an excellent port. It's demanding, yes, but it's rid of all the problems AC3 had and looks tons prettier to boot. Far Cry 3 is also an excellent example as is Splinter Cell Blacklist.
Don't know where all the steam about AC4 being a bad port is coming from.
I know you can use a controller on your PC, I'm using 3 myself, but paying 13€ for something you already have is just foolish in my book. It won't look THAT much better than it does on PS3, most of these ports have better resolution and antialiasing mostly. I wouldn't pay 13€ for that if I already have the game.
You know you could have just.. played it on your PS3.. since you already have it.
It's a hack and slash. They're better with controllers.
Seriously, an i7 recommended?
While an i5 really IS a bottleneck in Battlefield 4, an i7 2600k/3770k/4770k is a much better purchase than the FX9590.
The reason being that the standard i7 is not far behind the 9590 and can be overclocked more than the 9590 ever could. Essentially giving you better performance at less power cost.
A 6core i7 is the best you can do, but the regular i7 is the one to have for Battlefield, even since BF3.
